One of my favorite places to watch a show in NYC. We also taped many episodes of MTV2’s Subterranean down in its basement, including one with Radiohead. - Jim Shearer, Top 20 Countdown
If your legs get tired from all of the dancing, grab a seat on the benches to the left side of the main room to take a little break from the action. – Team Live Nation
Check your coat and bags downstairs, it's organized, efficient, and you won't have to carry your stuff!
Check out the bar to the left rear of the stage for a shorter line than the bars closer to the entrance of the venue. – Team Live Nation
For FREE hot dogs and cheap beer before the show, head to Rudy’s not far from Roseland Ballroom. – Team Live Nation
After the show, stop by Café Cielo for bands playing ‘til 2AM. It’s an open mic thing, so people just walk in and play. – Hank C.
Did you know that part of the movie Malcom X starring Denzel Washington was filmed at the Roseland? – Team Live Nation
November 5, 2000 – The release of the “Music” album is celebrated through a live show. Performed songs: Impressive Instant, Runaway Lover, Don’t Tell Me, What It Feels Like For A Girl, Music.
Probably my favorite venue in NYC. Offers great sound, nice big stage and great viewing angles from almost all parts of the club. Certainly worth checking out.
If you're at the Deadmau5 show be sure to check NickyDigital.com tomorrow morning for pictures from this event!
great place to get your party on!! Gotta love nYc!
We’ve been seeing shows here for years. Try and get a spot in the mezzanine, if it’s non-vip, it’s the best and least crowded spot to see the show.

One of my 5 top NYC venues for EDM...
The vast Roseland used to be an ice-skating and roller rink, giving way to music offerings in the early 1980s. Roseland was the site of a memorable show by Spoon at the 2007 CMJ Music Marathon.
saw X Japan perform here. Pure EPIC WIN. Broke my foot here as well. Still a great night.
Amazing sound system! Saw deadmau5 here and it was the best concert I've ever seen.
