Took the tram around the gardens. $10 for adults, $5 for children. Really worth it for the guided tour and an overview of the place. After that we took a walk around and had a nice cuppa in the cafe.

Huge, beautiful garden with over 40 thousand types of plants and trees. I recommend using the little train inside the park as it is very very big plus the train driver doubles as a guide of the park.

Avoid lunch hour. That's when the Gardens staff do most of their driving, mowing, sawing, clipping, and generally disturbing as many people as possible. Try earlier or later and it will be tranquil.
