The museum is amazing! Make sure you have at least a couple of hours to see everything. We only had one and a half and that was nowhere near enough.
I was not sure if visit this place, but I have to admit that I was surprised after visiting it. I had a lot of fun.

Check for extended summer hours on Thursday evenings, free street parking is available a couple blocks up on Government Street away from the harbour.

A must-see in Victoria. A spectacular and very interactive museum dedicated to BC culture.
If you visit the Victoria Butterfly Gardens first, you might be able to get free kids passes for entry to the museum; be sure to ask!
Wait for the "train" to go by at the station, once every 10 minutes!
