Where families and friends alike will marvel at the awe-inspiring panoramic views from one of the world’s highest suspension bridges.
Breathtaking views, with zip lining across the gorge ... Plan on spending the whole day there... 2 hours is not enough!
Our 2nd time here n yes I did the sky coaster
Still closed! Don't bother calling for information either. I did find a spot to see the Gorge by the picnic area, but you have to walk down quite a bit!
Call before you come assholes were closed
The bridge is closed until spring but you can still drive to see the canyon. You can also see the river & bridge.
The lookouts over the gorge are amazing. Bridge-walking is a must, but don't look down! Well, do look down, but be prepared to realize just how high you are above the canyon floor!
Currently closed due to a fire which burned most of the buildings and attractions. Planning to rebuild, but will be at least a year before reopening.
Unless you want to spend 26 dollars to walk the bridge, stop at the flags, walk to the viewing area and take pictures there
Have your video camera ready for the first time your family member or friend looks through the spacing between each plank!
Its too bad we went there late so we weren't able to zipline..
Great little park. The team and incline rail are included in park ticket. The zip line and sky coaster are extra, but so awesome! We had a fun, family day!
Do not forget sunglasses if you are coming in spring or summer.
If you ride the tram, be careful of emergency stops. You just might s*** your pants a little.
There's an overlook on the far side of the bridge that lets you get an amazing view of the gorge and bridge.
Tourist trap. Avoid it, not worth your time or money (expensive also)
Highest suspension ridge. Over 1000 ft. To the river. Absolutely beautiful scenery and a very nice zoo.
Drive your own car across the bridge too...it's included in your admission price!
Get there early before the winds pick up!
Tickets are buy one, get one half off right now during the off season!
Holy s***! So scary! Beautiful, breathtaking, but SO HIGH!!
Go during october and its off season. Tickets are almost half price. Bring a picnic drive across the bridge and go up and sit under the crazy people slingshoting themselves above Gorge.
Walk on the bridge and make sure you look down through the cracks :-)
$25 admission fee is not cheap, but there are plenty of things included in the price of admission. The most important: don't miss taking the train that takes you to the bottom of the canyon.
Ask for military/gov't discount. Every vendor including admission was honored.
If you get there before 830 am, it's 15 dollars... Otherwise it's 25...
Watch out - it costs $25 per person to get in to the amusement park where the bridge is. There is no way to just visit the bridge and gorge. What a scam.
Second time there, still great
The Royal Gorge suspension bridge can support an excess of 2 million pounds.
