More than a a grocery store, Russo's is an experience. Fresh flowers, an array of equally fresh produce, local dairy and eggs, pastries, prepared foods, cheeses and meats. http://russos.com/index.html
Best produce I've seen around Boston.
Best produce and prices around! My first stop when shopping!
This is my go to place for literally everything cooked or uncooked
Russo's makes me anxious, but their produce prices are super reasonable. Grab some vegetables you've never heard of, and sort it out when you get home!
Fresh greens, pasta, fruits and the list goes on.
Try to avoid coming here during peak hours, the place gets packed and can make for a frustrating shopping experience.
Fantastic and extensive produce selection. Cheaper than Whole Foods too. They also have cheeses, cold cuts a bakery as well as a gardening center with all kinds of flowers and plants.
Love this place, fresh fruits and veggies and cheap
A lot of all kinds fresh fruits and veggies but not so much organic...
Love the variety of veggies. A fair amount of organics too.
Amazing place to grab a sandwich. Unbelievable produce.
Nice pic of the ice cream! Great pickles, cheese department and pasta. A weekly stop for me.
I love Russos!! It's a pity is so crowded.
This is just the most gorgeous market imaginable. And surprisingly affordable. Worth the crowds.
I counted at least 4 prosciuto offerings from Spain and Italy. Try them out!
This is the place for fresh fruits and veggies!
Probably the best produce store you'll ever visit
Per the cashier and some quick observation, there is no place to sit outside. Kind of a shame on a gorgeous day.
Yay for expansion. Parking a loading dock in the back. No more dodging delivery trucks!
Whole foods quality at market basket prices and chaos.
Best lobster tail pastry in Boston! And I hate sweets!
If you come on a weekend, bring extra patience. It's worth every cart collision. Best produce; best meat (albeit limited selection); best cheese.
Cheese selection is great. Also a fan of metch - a bulgar salad with scallions & tomatoes & peppers. Yum!
Delicious prosciutto San Danielle. They slice it perfectly and protect each piece. It's a lot of work, but they consistently do it right! Mmmmm
SO fresh. Great variety. I also love how they wrap and package everything so things don't spill/leak
Candy land of produce. Best herb and lettuce section ever. It gets crowded and you may get stuck in a shopping cart traffic jam with a child having a meltdown.
Awesome selection of local food
Best cheese counter ever! Don't miss the fresh pasta on the side as well, there are many hidden items everywhere if you look.
I checked-in during Check-in Special of Spend $20 and get $10 statement credit and made a purchase of $50, but never got $10 credit on my Amex card.
Be sure an look on the lower shelves under the produce. Lots of amazing pantry items down there.
The Tuscan Ham from the deli!
bring football armor to knock back the rude customers that shove past you
Great prices and quality on produce. Also has my favorite sheep's milk feta cheese.
Don't go to this store on the weekends.
Superior produce and salad bar. The sandwiches are overrated.
Best greengrocer in the Boston area at excellent prices.
fresh, local, organic groceries, prepared foods, and desserts... just avoid the weekend crowd.
The best guacamole!
Best Asian and ethnic veggies anywhere outside of Chinatown
Don't park in the main lot. Go to the Russo's extra parking area in the back. It's has much more room (and less beeping!).
Correct me if I am wrong but I think they get new shipment every Thursdays! Avoid weekends- lines are unbelievable! Try the Asian sausage in meat section among other things! Great cheese section!
I'm obsessed with the strawberry Napoleons- obsessed. I love Russo's and stop in several times a week for lots of delectable goodies. Best selection of fruits/veggies in the area!
The best, freshest and cheapest produce in all the land. However, it's always busy and the aisles are small. So PLEASE, be considerate of others.
Great prices on Christmas trees!!
Great place to buy a Christmas tree during the holiday season. Quality trees and a quick, easy tree-loading process.
Watch the prices. For no reason, an everyday item price seems to go out of whack. Today, $3.98 for cauliflower. Huh?
