Rustic Canyon Wine Bar and Seasonal Kitchen is a neighborhood restaurant and wine bar where friends near and far can come together and celebrate the best things in life: great food, great wine, and great people.
Burger is solid and wine selection is varied and delicious
Food was great, waiter was very surly and non-attentive. Very expensive!
The grilled nectarine + polenta + ricotta + arugula is ridiculously awesome
Fabulously sourced, impeccably prepared selection of dishes in a warm, convivial space. Spot-on service, with a well-curated wine list with both harder to find domestic and international selections
Pricey yet wonderful farm to table restaurant, and don't hesitate to call last minute to rsvp because there's often a cancellation that you can fill ;-)
Great food! Locally sourced menu changes daily. Good spot for a date or with a few people so you can try and share a bunch of small plates
Great food but very noisy. What? Whaaat? WHAAAAT?
One of the better burgers in L.A.! Don't let Father's Office deter you from trying this place. Come around early or late lunch to avoid the crowds!
For a place that has "Wine Bar" in the title, I come here for the food. Oh the irony of it all but yes the food is fantastic.
Meh, only ok. Far too loud, terrible room acoustics, even with acoustic ceiling baffles, and very average food. No sign of the mythical burger. Cheese board was the best bit.
Locally sourced, as sustainable as possible, and reasonably priced. What's not to love?
Just found out they no longer have the burger on the menu!! Told new chef is trying out new things in a limited kitchen. Totally get that, but please put it back- was the best burger in LA.
Lavender almonds, beets and berries, crispy potatoes with chicken gravy... Everything is delicious! Also appreciate that the flavors here are fresh and unique, not just a menu of current food trends.
Do NOT get the gnocci. It is a very small portion for 17 dollars (2 or 3 spoon fulls). First time here, sorry to say my last time.
Best food in town! The chicken was phenomenal. Chef Jeremy Fox is a miracle worker.
Off the menu burger is delicious! A main stayer from previous chef - you gotta be in the know
The Lavender Sugared Almonds are amazing!
The melon soup is out of this world.
Ok yes the burger is sinful. But surprise superstars- the almonds. Basil or something kick is outrageous
In addition to a new full bar program, chef Jeremy Fox's lighter California-style veggie-centered dishes shine, making the staple westside date spot once again obligatory. [Eater 38 Member]
Disappointing. Don't believe the hype!
Order the "secret" burger - and get the egg! About $25 I think.
Rustic Canyon Burger
The burger is not on the menu, just ask for it!
really good burger- add the thick bacon! the shrimp scampi and broccoli rabe with burrata are delicious!
Terrible service!!!! Totally ruined my sister's birthday celebration. I do NOT recommend!!!!
Get bacon with your burger. It's amazing!
Request a booth at the back and choose a selection the small plates!
Had dinner there last night. Great food!
Burger is out of this world. Don't eat all day though. It's rich. Pairs well with a big red wine.
Wines overpriced. Food good. Quality craft beers. Nice ambiance. Think that pretty much covers it. Enjoy.
Flawless gnocchi. Flawless.
A sip of a French red wine and the best Burger in LA. Can't say no to that!
We took starters selection. This is very, very good.
Get the burger. Add the egg. Add the bacon. It's f*ckin insane good.
Sadly the donuts are no more :( but get the squash blossoms...delish!
Best wine by the glass - get the Gargiulo Sangiovese. Great winemaker, goes with much of the menu and a fair price!
This wine bar has an ever-evolving menu of the best of the best in food and wine. One thing remains consistent, their selection of Bordeaux, whether by the glass or bottle, is a must try.
The Crispy White Polenta with wild mushtooms, sunny-side farm egg, parmigiano-reggiano... fantastic! Really, you can't go wrong with anything on this menu, including the ice cream & sorbet selection.
The hip L.A. version of Chez Panisse, this is one of the best spots in Santa Monica offering small plates and seasonal ingredients.
Don't forget bacon on that burger!
Burger medium rare with bacon will change your life
Get the polenta. Just do it.
