Pasta is Not over cooked💃🏼. Wine list is great. Garlic is plentiful. Tiramisu is real and homemade shrimp, veal and beef are all wonderful. Service has always been above average when I was there
Best meat sauce anywhere ever.
Fancy dinner, good food
Authentic Italian with live music.
Not coming here again
love this place
The oysters Rockefeller, delicious, first time I had them, and I think is the best meal I could have this week, with a lovely company!!!!!!
Any of the veal dishes are the best in town
Their meat sauce is out of this world delicious & creamy! Order in the homemade ravioli or even on top of the cheesy pizza bread! Tasty!
Classic Chicago joint serves solid Italian-American dishes, but most people visit for the old school charm and roving musicians.
Ask for Frank, he's a fantastic server!
Veal piccante is where it's at.
Perfect meal-The two amazing breads, blue cheese on the salad, Stratchatelle (sp?) soup, Veal Braciole, and Baked Alaska! Night cap with a Knob Creek...you can die a happy person!
Always a great meal!
Baked Alaska is the best in town! But love the entrees. And reasonable drink priced.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
Awesome, get a lot for the money.
It's not on the menu but ask for fried ravioli - its the best!!
This place is hard to beat for the price. Huge menu yet it's all done well.
Couples should snag a booth, the perfect spot for sipping a bottle of Chianti and enjoying signature cheesy garlic bread. Ricotta-filled manicotti and gnocchi in meat sauce won’t disappoint.
quite, dark, old school Italian....
Veal Sorintino was fantastic! Super thin, cut it with a spoon! Great service from Kris!
Great ambiance and service. Highly recommend the seafood!
Great piano player on Friday and Saturday. :)
Dark, classy-tacky and tasty. A preserved old-timey mobster-type hang out.
Chef's cut new york strip is the way to go.
The very best Italian in Chicago, for the food, the atmosphere, and the value! Order ANYTHING at all and you will not be disappointed!
Food is average but Oysters Rockeller are worth the trip alone. They are the best in Chicago. A large and loud restaurant that's been around forever. Great for parties. Something homey & charming.
"Old School" Italian American restaurant. Order anything, it's all tried and true, tested, because this place has been around forever. Save room for baked Alaska or bananas foster.
Everything is great here. Chicken Sabatino and Shrimp della Casa are both amazing.
If you are in the mood for pasta, order the spinach gnocchi (Gnocchi di Spinaci). It comes in an alfredo sauce with bits of asparagus and prosciutto.
