awesome airport! chargers at each corner of the black triangular tables, a clean and timely shuttle to and from terminal B, neat art to look at as you walk through, and reasonable prices in stores! :)

Just had one of the best grilled artichokes ever. And an amazing salmon filet with a miso soy glaze. And it's shocking this good food was found in an airport. Esquire Grill, check it out.

Grab a coffee at Old Soul in the new wing, but drink it before you get to the security check or you'll have to toss a great cup of coffee. Mochas are delicious, as are the scones. Perfect travel fuel!

Nice to have a second option for catching a flight out of Northern California & the Bay Area. Less hectic and convenient for traveling inside the USA for regional trips instead of international ones.

This airport us a great regional resource... Makes far more sense to fly from SMF from many northern CA cities than Bay Area airports. The new terminal is quiet, calm, spacious.

If you're in a hurry and driving yourself, park in the Daily A lot. You can walk to either terminal through the garage and it only costs $2 more than the economy lot!

You'd better have your gadgets charged, because Gates A1-5 share only 3 power outlets for the public, plus a couple inconspicuous ones scattered around at ankle height. So '80s!

The new terminal for Southwest is beautiful, and functional, but space X stretch time in the morning for security, sometimes it's crazy!

Welcome to Sacramento. The best cup of coffee (in my opinion) is waiting for you just off the tram on your left at @OldSoulCo.

La Bou in Terminal A has delicious breakfast sandwiches served all day! Plus you can get one with a drink for $10 which is nice in this kinda pricey airport food court.

There is a free parking lot if you have to wait long , the only thing is a bit far from the buildings ... But if you still have to wait long who cares , it's free!!!

After flying into and out of some of the nations largest airports, this one is still the best for people with laptops. Free charging bars, plus reasonably fast and secure WiFi for free.

Even if you are TSA Pre-Check be prepared for complete incompetence by security! While other airports do this right, Pre-Check here can actually take longer than the normal line...go figure!

Flying in or out of Northern California? Try Sacramento International Airport. It offers an easier experience than SFO. Much less traffic and fewer canceled flights due to fog.

The supershuttle staff is inefficient...and their computerized system is a big goofup. I faced trouble 3 times in a row. Their computerized system doesn't show my 24 hour earlier reservation.

Make sure you have plenty of time between flights, in case you have to go to a different terminal. From Terminal B to Terminal A~ prepare to WAIT (re: inter terminal bus) or WALK. 

When lots of flights arrive at the same time, grab the economy parking bus at the arrival side of Terminal A. The pickup closest to baggage claim will be a zoo. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Some airlines are more likely to bump passengers from flights than others. You have the best shot at staying on the plane with JetBlue, Hawaiian and Delta. American Eagle has the highest bump rate.

Smaller airport with quick access inbound or outbound. Good option for Tahoe and Napa, not so great to get to Bay due to I-80 traffic.

I'm used to much busier airports, it's a very easy going intl airport, there is no way you could miss your flight, it's as if your flight is the only flight out of there.

If you're transferring terminals, make sure you get going if you've only got an hour or so. The transfer has you walk across a parking lot, skybridge, tram, then you re-enter a TSA security checkpoint

If you're tall, step away from the baggage claim belt so other ppl can see, and kids need to stand off to the side. Be considerate for crying out loud.

Terminal B, Door #2, by the Southwest Airline's baggage carrousel, is the best exit to cross to the Limousine, Taxi, and Blue Van curb.
