Banh mi ga. Might try the vegetarian ones next
Make sure you ask them to cut your sandwich in half
House special was great
A contender for best lunch in the area, and at $5 for a banh mi, its definitely one of the best vaues
Best viet sandwich ever. Try the house special.
Holy bahn mi goodness. Nom nom nom. Does anyone actually read these? 💁🏼
Cheapest, biggest, but not best...
The House Banh Mi is very good, big and only $5.
My favorite spot to grab a Vietnamese sandwich around the area. Great deal too!
I work about a block away from here. Owner is very friendly, I love to get the Pork Glaze Banh Mi but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The lunch rush settles down around 1:30pm
These sandwiches are a steal at $5. And make sure the order them spicy. I'm a #1 kind of guy
Terrific house special, $5.50. Ask for more sauce
they are cash only.
One damn good bahn mi, and just $5. Get the #3 with minced ground pork, perfectly juicy.
Get the #1 House Special, spicy. A big, delicious bánh mì sandwich for less than a cup of fancy coffee.
ask for extra meat and extra spicy
Number 1, spicy. So delicious. Take it to the park on Spring and Lafayette and enjoy in the sun!
Baguette was on point.
One of my lunch favs. Go with the classic
Get the number 1 spicy.
I would recommend a chicken sandwich, it was really good. But shrimp roll had few pieces of shrimp. In three rolls I've had just one tiny piece of shrimp in each roll.
Great banh mi, and okay Vietnamese iced coffee. Take it to go, though...the shop smells a little funky.
Banh mi #3 spicy is my fave
The banh mis is really great value for money!
Tasty big sandwiches at a small price. Get the spicy flavor, more bang for your buck.
The sandwiches are only $5 and they are DELICIOUS. So the decision has been made, you're going. Now.
The bahn mi is the best I've tried -- perfect filling to bread ratio!
Hidden gem! Amazing bahn mi sandwiches and summer rolls. Very cheap, fresh and yummy.
I get the curry chicken here all the time and have yet to be disappointed. Slightly more expensive (by $0.75) than the shop around the corner, but it's worth it.
Fresh sugar cane juice!
Best Bahn mi in the city! Get the #1 spicy. It's classic.
banh mi sandwiches are cheap, big, and filling
great vegetarian option! the waiter is very friendly too.
for an extra kick, ask for your banh mi to be made extra spicy. to really get crazy, drizzle that sandwich in sriracha.
This is the best Banh Mi in NYC. #3 extra spicy.
Cheap, tasty, and huge.
The hype is real. Get the #1, pay $5, enjoy a delicious sandwich big enough for lunch AND dinner.
They have Vietnamese coffee grinds for purchase. Strong and wonderful coffee.
If you would like a spicy sandwich ask for extra spicy. The "regular" spicy level is not spicy at all.
This place has the real $5 footlong. It's delicious, large, and at a great price.
#1 House Special is incredible -- and for $5 probably the best cheap eats option around. Careful though - they take requests for extra spicy REALLY seriously, so make sure you like it hot.
Easily a two-lunch sandwich, for the price of half of one. SOMETHING IS WRONG, DOES NOT COMPUTE
The spicy banh mi is the way to go!
Number 1. Spicy, no spicy? Spicy!
Can't think of a better $5 sandwich. Minced pork (#3) is my go-to, tho bring a friend or 2 and do some splitty-split. Don't fear The Spicy.
This unassuming place has one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted!! Get the house special. And it's only five dollars!! It could have been ten dollars and still would have been an amazing deal.
Great bahn mi and crazy cheap.
YOU CAN'T AFFORD NOT TO
If you're looking for the most traditional Vietnamese Sandwich, order #5, the pate supreme. And for $1 more get extra pate--treat yoself.
