Free admission and enough thins to do and see that it'll be an entire day's worth of activity. The polar bear was by far my favorite!
You must experience the very fabulous St. Louis Zoo!!!
Good look at the Lions and other animals that are usually not seen.
Go in early. There is so much to see and the animals look well treated.
Check out the penguin exhibit! Some exhibits are close and personal, while some others involve lots of animals behind a glass window.
This is the last free zoo in the US, and it's amazing. Don't miss sea lion sound and the Penguins. Those are our favorite exhibits. the carousel & Children's Zoo are also free the first hour each day.
Parking a bit tough
Lots of unique animals. Although Monday is an off day. Not a lot of food options and things open.
This city got a incredible zoo
Free admission, well maintained, knowledgeable personnel and staff, and great animals!
Our zoo is awesome!

A fun zoo to visit on a nice day and its free! Don't pay to park in the parking lot, there is plenty of free street parking nearby.
The Saint Louis Zoo is one of the best in the Midwest. Check out the big cat and polar bear exhibits, they're pretty awesome!
The mini train ride
If you have young kids it's so worth it to get the family pass. It includes parking ($15) a lot of fun stuff like sea lion show, train, children's zoo. Also get 10% off at all food/gifts.
Best zoo in the USA!!!
Free admission! Parking is difficult though, or the lot right next to the zoo is $15
Best free or paid date every...everything is very responsible compared to other places...you may have to walk a bit parking gets hectic.
Such a great, huge zoo! And it's free!
Had a wonderful time with my wife at the St. Louis zoo. Fun for the entire family.
It can get crazy busy on the weekends so expect a crowd even on Sunday but given they have free admission it is totally worth a bit of a wait on certain exhibits. Though you might want to bring cash.
Great for families or groups. Best of all its free! I never pay for parking. Just find a spot on the street and enjoy a short walk.
Great animals! Best time to go is around 3 or 4- when the animals start to get hungry they get active :)
It's free! Bring your own picnic lunch and make a day of it. Plenty of places to sit and eat!
They sell beer so you can deal with other people's screaming children but it's a zoo so expect children. Good exhibits. Parking is $15 but zoo admission is free.
Sting Ray's! In an amazing free park! $4 bucks a steal to feel the slimy feel! Believe It! I'm Gonna Be King of the Pirates!
The gorillas and chimps
The penguin house is a must visit.
66 degrees? Its a heat wave!
Great free zoo!! However, be ready to pay $15 for parking as well as buying passes for the train, shows, certain exhibits, etc.
The best for family
If you park close to the art museum and walk you do t have to pay for parking!
This is the best zoo in the country.
Best Zoo in the United States - and it's free.
Everyone should spent at least a day at the zoo it's free!
This is an amazing zoo, parking is a bit difficult but if you can find free parking, you can have a family fun day completely free, and nothing beats free.
