Worth the wait for the chance to sample whichever flavor you'd like! I got the Sightglass coffee & single origin dandelion choc but my husband won the day by getting a scoop of almond brittle. YUM

Portland favorite now in SF. Caramel ribbons, sightglass coffee w/ dandelion chocolate are great. Favorite: Peach cobbler. There will be long lines, waited 45 mins to get a scoop on opening day

The Portland famous ice cream is finally in SF. Loved their brownie sundae and roasted strawberry tres leches. The lines are ridiculously long so come with patience

Skip that mofo line! Grab a pint to go for $11. Expect a long wait due to its popularity.

Short wait Friday afternoon. Salt and Straw has always been hit or miss for me, but the scoops are huge and they don't give you the stink eye for trying out more than a couple of flavors.

Neat creative selection of flavors, but I found nearly all the ice cream I tried to be overly sugary. Seems kind of at odds that they are being artisanal, but give huge scoops of sugary ice cream.

Taste all flavors. Buy a pint. Run home before it melts!

Before deciding which flavor, you can try as much as possible. It is very delicious, however quite sugary.

So far, so good. They've so many flavors to keep you coming back multiple times a month just to try it all. Friendly & helpful service. Wait time was short but I went in the middle of a weekday.

Honey Lavender & Roasted Strawberry at my go to on the classic menu. Looks like the SF special on the classic menu - Peach Vinegar is outstanding as well!! If you end up there - try 'em out
