Lambrusco…yes, Lambrusco. It works v. well with the cuisine. Ceci is a good producer. Expect inky dark purple color, modest carbonation, grapy dark fruits and bright acidity, even a bit of 'barnyard'.
One of the best, most authentic Italian places in the city (seriously). Sample the salumi (love the Prosciutto San Daniele). The rigatoni w/ 9 meats made me cry. And the Pinot Noir is delish.

Back corner seating is perfect if you have a baby. Lots of space to spread out considering how small the restaurant is.
Salumi sampler is generously sized and delicious! Don't think you can go wrong with anything in the menu except for the cheese plate, which was mediocre at best.
It was a good meat plate, in retrospect; and the atmosphere made it feel like Christmas in Nana's second home all over again.

Great welcome, friendly waitresses, good service (minus the dirty silverware),OK food, none of which deserves such high pricing. Skip it try the next door until their prices come down to our earth.
