Very authentic place, and the food is outstanding for a mid budget restaurant. Definitely a must go if you are in Bangalore.
the places is old now. the furniture is moldy. the food was great. good vegetarian options. my friend dropped her drink, they did not replace it. bad service
Очень вкусная еда! Неплохое обслуживание! Соусы лучше не ешьте (здесь и где-либо). Местные говорят, что они и небутылированная вода - главные причины отравлений.
Try the peshawari gravy with butter Kulcha. It's very Yum.
Amazing food lamp shoulder melting in your mouth. . Daal is soo good everything was excellent and kulfi and golab gamon was superb
Legendary Biryani !!
Average food....after a decade the place has slipped.....only kebabs were even worth trying....
Try the Chooze Ka Shorba. Out of the world. Best soup ever.
Don't miss out on the Kulfi and Paan as the deserts!
Food quality is maintained but the service is degraded (the water glass was not refilled throughout the meal course) and the place is extremely conjusted....
One of my favorites in bangalore. Raan here is to die for! One of the best mughlai cuisine places in town!
Mutton sum biriyani is a must have!
Eat nan-baluchistan with dal. Try sabut-chuza. Lamb, chichen, tried all, loved all.
Good and valuable food...
Buying Rotis is rip off... too pricy... neary 100 bucks?!
"Ghost ke Pasinde" is like the best spicy meaty chops u can get!
Noisy place with loud music
Nalli ka Salan the best must try!
Try the kulfi at the end. Delicious!
Dum biryani is amazinggg!! Also don't miss the phirni, not too sweet just right!! Til dil tikka is yum yum! :)
If the Samarkand is full there's place in Hypnos and they serve the same food
Dal Makhani and Biryani is a must order
awsum lunch :)
Biryani was the best I've ever had when it comes to mid sized budget restaurant... ;-)
The tandoori chicken is outstanding
Samarkand was the birth place of Mughal Ruler Babur.Nalli ka salan & biryani a must. Complete review on http://foodgasmjourney.blogspot.in/2013/03/samarkand-restaurant.html
Ask for the swords...
Probably the best mutton biryani in town.
You got to make reservations in advance if you plan this outing in between shopping etc. ambience is good and food is excellent. Awesome work by chefs to prepare the food with min delay.
Nice place. Amazing food. Try the dum biriyani veg/mutton. Both are equally good.
Neat place, great ambience, biryani and bread sticks are like wow...
Great Food (both veg & non veg), Valet Parking, Excellent Service!
Though awesome on food, rude on hospitality until you are 'seated'. Hats off to the cooks who drive this place as the hospitality staff sucks!
Great Biryani !
Amazing place..amazing food..by far best gosht dum biryani I've had in Bangalore!
Also try the nalli ka Salan, too good!
Very good food. Best cooked mutton I have eaten is here!!
The breadsticks with the sauces. Better than the main course served there :D
Heaven for non-vegetarians...MUST: galouti kabab , Dal Afghani , Nalli ka Saalan....Skip the biryani
Try the afgani daal and nargese kofta. And yes the biryani is a must go for meat eaters. I also loved how they serve colorful snack sticks with various chutney's as starters. Food is pricey though.
Their Saboota Chooza is a must try for chicken lovers.
By far, the best for Frontier cuisine, this dimly lit restaurant has the waiters walking around in true Pathan suits and turbans and huge mustaches.
You would love the food here. Its the best.
Most awesome Biryani I have ever tasted. Go with the culture and eat with your hands. Forget the cutlery for once.
Before I say anything...ask for cutlery...it's ok :)Wow! Food here is tops! The biryani is outstanding. For the veggie...try the melonie subji...damn good is all I can say.
Try chenghezi chai
We really liked the Gosht Ki Dum Biriyani - the lamb was incredible!
Good frontier food. Bit spicy for me like every thing else in bgl
