The cold sesame noodles are made with udon and they are dank. However, don't eat the entire serving or you will feel ill.

I'm a bit disappointed. Had the pepper steak - nothing to brag about. This place is just ok for me.

REMEMBER: the portions are family sized at Sammy's so don't order a whole lot.

Word on the street is that they have a good, big old school Chinese egg roll. I have not tried it, but Foursquare won't let you save notes on places, so I'm sharing this TO DO note with all of you!

    Emilie Dishongh · January 30
  • Meg F.

Pretty solid spot for Chinese. Had lo mein and general tso's, both no complaints, but also nothing out of this world. Warning: steamed pork buns are enormous, enough to split between 2 for sure.

Huge portions. General tsos chicken. Meat dumplings and steamed pork buns

    Andrew Gargiso · December 29, 2014

I had the shrimp pad Thai here. Pretty solid choice and a large portion that is good to share ;)

The veggie dumplings are okay, noodles are pretty greasy. Not much around for a health conscious vegan.

    Margot Mazur · October 15, 2014
  • Fabian J.

The food was okay. I am not saying the food is bad but the prior reviews make it seem like it was world class. But the portion sizes are it's selling point. You definitely get your money worth in food

If you ever want to start a hate affair with Chinese food, eat here. I don't know how you f**k up wanton soup! Yuck.

Sesame beef with mushrooms snow peas and peppers was out of this world!

Get these: Cold sesame noodles, pan friend noodles with roast pork, General Tso's chicken and House Special fried rice without the soy sauce. And you're good to go! Oh, and roast pork buns. That's it.

This is one of the best authentic Dumpling Houses I have been. Huge portions of really tasty, well prepared food served hot and really good service, we were a party of 3 with 9 drinks.

Walk in orders are the best orders. Food comes quickly (often before delivery folks) and you'll be more than pleased with the portion size your money buys.

Veggies: order the general tso's tofu - possibly the best in the city and comes with a nice amount of broccoli!

Excellent! I had the Thai iced tea sans milk and curry fried rice with shrimp. My boyfriend had the General Tso's chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portions are HUGE!

Order the sautéed new year's cakes. You don't need to understand what they are, just order them. You're welcome.

Solid food. Get the big steamed bun. Almost a meal by itself. Every entree is more than enough for two people. Be careful!

    Shane N · April 27, 2013
  • Gina S.

Pretty crappy Americanized Chinese food. Lots of gooey corn starch sauces. No heat to so called spicy dishes.

    Gina Sorice · April 15, 2013

Great Chinese served with abusive flair ... the General Tso's is amazing! :D

Totally cheap & cheerful, with HUGE portions. I always get the pork & wonton noodle soup with egg noodles. Hits the spot!

The cantonese wonton soup will thoroughly line your gut before a long night of drinking. Large portions and decent prices. Good lunch spot for take-out.

The beef stew with noodles is very tasty, but be warned there is at least a pound of giant pieces of chewy, fatty meat. Very hard to eat but just the broth and noodles are enough.
