Spirit Airline is the cheapest... I got a round trip to Vegas for only $72
My new adventure begins here very excited to be here. Small but a very nice airport with friendly people
Free wifi and SW A-list makes security insanely fast.
Easy in, easy out. Just wish they would finish construction.
Easy to navigate - never an issue. Careful of flights leaving from the commuter terminal - shuttle takes a while
Terminal 2 is exquisite and Terminal 1 is being remodeled with nice amenities. The free WiFi is below average though: difficult to log-in, slow speeds, and boots you after 30 min.
Spectacularly spicy fried rice at Saffron. Really good and made to order
Quickest for arrivals if you don't check a bag.
Apply for Global Entry or TSA Pre-Check and you'll breeze right through security!
Try the grilled Asian chicken sandwich at the restaurant/bar Stone brewing co. The security guard recommended it as the best sandwich in the airport and it really was astonishingly good. Thumbs up
Smaller airport, but nice
San Diego is my second home hate to leave but will be back soon
If you flight has connections be aware that you will aboard in the commute terminal despite your airline main location in terminals. Airport buses are very helpful ;)
Stone brewery is in here too!
Always fast and easy. Best airport I've been to.
If you can- always fly in here. So fast and easy.
Departures: sit on the right for views of the bay and beaches after flying over Liberty Station. Arrivals: sit on the left for views of Coronado bridge, Petco Park, and the downtown skyline.
Very easy airport to navigate. Nice clean facilities. And friendly TSA agents...
Long wait time for baggage here. 20+ minutes...
Gotta love it - traveling 5 weeks out of 6! See it Coming & going! Could use more seating in the Southwest terminal (#1), but I still like Southwest's attitude & appreciation for their customers!
after JFK airport, this feels like heaven
Good location since it is downtown!
Super easy to go through!
Terminal one has very limited seating options. As someone that likes to work when at the airport it's a bit frustrating
So much more traffic now after the remodel
Easiest airport I've ever gone through!
If you are at terminal 1, make sure you know your gate number before going through security: Gate 1-2 are isolated from the rest.
Looking to connect to the internet? The free WiFi service is not very reliable--difficult to connect and very slow.
Love the new additions of the San Diego food joints! Gotta love Phills!
This airport has minimal restaurants and things to do while waiting for your flight
Do not book flights on Southwest going to Kansas City where SAN is where you have to change planes. You may have to change terminals and go through security again.
A lot of the gates seem small. I never could get the free wifi either.
Bathrooms got worse from last year.. now there is a 5" x 5" hole in the stall wall so you can make eye contact with the guy shitting next to you.
Nice clean airport
Off I go!!!!!
Gotta get around, right? Try Uber with $20 off your first ride with this link:
Too small... Not much to do while waiting.
Look up! There's beautiful art everywhere here.
A veces al pagar el boleto de estacionamiento solo acepta tarjeta, en Jack in the box no hay el mismo menú que en un local más grande.
Terminal 2 is brand new and you can check in outside.
San diego very beautiful, enjoy the weather and the beach. If you need anything to be carried ASAP from point A to point B in San Diego or anywhere in southern California call www.samedayex.com .
Terminal 1 is so small, crowded and old.
Terminal two is absolutely fantastic, terminal one leaves quite a bit to be desired.
Free wifi! Awesome
One of the nicest airports I've been in in a long while. The renovations have made it a beautiful space and the art/science installations are gorgeous and well done.
Small crowded airport
