Cheetah run is a must. Also, get some ice cream.
Good for kids just make sure you check all the activities are on
Its really empty, it too expensive, do not buy any zafari tour, just get inside look first and then if u like it go to the private tour, anyway its the same
So fun to walk around and see the animals in more natural habitats. Get the soft serve ice cream.
Obsessed with this place! Take the caravan safari for your chance to feed giraffes AND rhinos! It was an amazing experience! I got to do both. I also loved Lorikeet Landing!
The key difference vs SD zoo is the safari & balloon rides, which cost ridiculous additional fees (up to 100$ pp) and yet it was sold out by 2 PM! It was a waist of time!
The cheetah run was very enjoyable and informative. Long wait though, so might not be best for the little ones.
San Diego Zoo Safari is the real deal
Check out the safaris!
Feeding the Animals was so Awesome " knowledgable guides were so helpful " worth the money . Going again soon.
Ticket includes basic tram
Nice place to go with the family
A lot of things to see
Plan early for the safari rides. They get sold out fast!
Cheetah cage ! Dont miss
There's so much space for the animals to roam here. The views are beautiful and trekking around here is a good workout. I definitely recommend!
Great place yo take the kids. Don't need to take the expensive tours. The safari tram is great!
Bring sun screen, water and food!
To the caravan safari! Line up early for Cheetah run.
Arrive in the morning and take the tram safari at sunset. It was Sooo beautiful!!!
Great to see all animals!!! Tram is nice to ride and LOVED the Tiger Trail
Churros, wild animals and hikes.
The park size is enormous. Make sure you get the coconut sorbet! Nothing bad to say. It's well laid out, well marked. If you pay extra you can meet with the cheetah after it's run in the afternoon.
The Tiger Trail is awesome.
Overpriced below average food
It's all good! It is never really crowded no lines no waiting lots of hills but always lots f fun!
Magnificent views of the San Pasqual Valley.
Be sure to hunt down the Watering Hole! A great place to relax, get a break from the heat with a cool breeze and enjoy a great view of the Rhinos and other animals.
Bring sunscreen and water if you plan to stay all day. You are also allowed to bring food into the safari park. - Penina Mezei
Cool wild animal park, but bring your own food. It's a waste to eat here. Premade cheap food that costs way too much. Lunch for 4 cost 70 dollars.
It's a big park with lots of walking. Bring sunscreen, water, munchies, and a hat/umbrella to shield you from the sun.
The Butterfly Jungle requires timed tickets (similar to Fast Passes at Disneyland). Pickup your free timed tickets early.
Best time to see the butterflies is first thing in the morning when they open at 8am
Ride the Balloon Safari before noon to get discounted tickets. $12 per person.
Spank a monkey then drive to Northpark and buy an Overload Skateboard
Prices on "extras"....
"Extras are pricey!
Members show your card and save $3.00 on parking! Diamond members, free parking.
Expect to wait at least twice as long as they tell you for the balloon safari
Kids free at the Zoo for month of October. When you go through the entrance, you are greeted with a "Roar" of 'Welcome'!!!
Great place for family outting!!
Everything is spread out, lots of walking up and down. Animals are far away, bring a telescope if you want to see anything. Tram ride would be good if they had more than antelope / tree / antelope etc
Horrible. Don't waste your money. Go to the San Diego Zoo instead. Animals are far way. The tramp ride is a joke. Turn around and leave, Save your money.
We love safari park
The cheetah Run happens at 3:30. Don't be on the other side of the park then or you'll miss it!
