Go to the 39th floor, have a drink at the bar and enjoy one of the best views of San Francisco
Don't touch the food in your room. It's a trap! A cheap one at that
super friendly hotel staff. their bedding linens are heavenly made.
To save money, you can eat at Mel's Drive In Diner at corner, Starbucks down 4th St is cheaper than hotel, stores, pharmacy and other less expensive shopping options are very nearby.
No wireless internet inside your hotel room.
Desserts @ Concierge (18th floor), 7:30 - 10 pm, Sunday to Thursday.
IMHO-This is the no-brainer 1st choice Marriot if you're staying in the Financial District of San Francisco. The View on the 39th fl is a must!
Unless you're on a VC-flush-with-cash expense account, avoid theVIEWlounge on the 39th floor. A couple friends, wine, cheese platter: $130.00 ouch. Awesome view though.
Don't drink crappy Starbucks, you're only a short walk from Blue Bottle Coffee over by 5th st
Make sure you ask for a room "AWAY" from the church bell! Then your stay is guaranteed to be delightful!
They have beds in the rooms.
Free wifi in the lobby area but it's $14.95/night in guest rooms.
There *is* free Wi-Fi under the network named Marquis_guest. Worked for me in my room and in public areas.
Packed hotel bar. Non descript but busy.
Great hotel right in the middle of everything. Awesome gym and amazing views/drinks on the 39th floor. Highly recommend. Ask me about it on Twitter - @Greenbaumer
$60 to overnight park... What a joke...
What?! No wifi!!
Get a room AWAY from the elevators unless you like hearing them running by all day & night. Sounds like the never ending roller coasters next to us.
There's a Starbucks in the lobby!
Some of the cleanest bathrooms in town

No wireless in your room? I work splendidly on 3G
No free Wireless in rooms. Only in lobby area
It's not horrible, but I'd stay elsewhere.
Head to the bar in the 39th floor for excellent views & half priced Skyy vodka cocktails during happy hour
Great restaurant nearby. Try john's grill and order the escargo, lamb chops, and flan!
Fantastic view from the bar on 30th floor...
Dan Callahan at the Concierge Desk is a fountain of information.
Definitely checkout the rooftop bar. It's amazing. The windows are out of this world, offering a spectacular view of the city. Don't miss it.
I've stayed at this hotel many times,, usually very good.. t his time my room on 17th floor (1754) was too close to the elevators.. was hard to sleep with the constant noise of the elevator
You can register a day before Traffic and Conversion begins
The View Lounge doesn't open until 4pm everyday. You can't even go up to the top floor until then.
The food and drinks are great!
No wifi in the room...the bath water was coming quite slow....very nice concierge though...
Probably the worst Marriott Marquis I've been to. Horrible internet, concierge club is a wreck, and the rooms are VERY tired!
Another high volume session -- on impact investing
Wifi back on. Am in my room now with a full connection.
No wifi anywhere!!
Concierge lounge serves a great breakfast. If you are not gold or platinum status ask for access - worth the extra money for the selection and convenience. You can stock up on water and soda too.
Starbucks can mitigate the windowless conference room effect - somewhat
Wonderful sparkling served by Josue in the lobby bar!! Awesome!!!
Excellent Cosmo made by Bruce at the lobby bar!!!
You'll have to pay for drinks at the concierge lounge, so just go up to the View Lounge on the 39th floor instead.
The room is very nice and service is great!
The Concierge Services here are awesome - especially Judy Ovando!
Not a bad price for a glass of wine- almost twice as much at the reception we just came from!
