    Locals say it is a great place to fish for sharks by boat, but we caught none the day we were there. Great view of beaches and nice breeze.

    Low tide to find the best shells. Wade in the water and pick them up. But check carefully....if they are alive or are a home for a hermit crab gently return it to the ocean.

    This lighthouse is unlike your usual. More like an oil derrick with a light on top. Renovated in 2013 to its original beauty from 1880s. The symbol of Sanibel.
