If you don't have clubhouse access, it's hard to beat a high top table at the Post. You are close to everything; the Paddock, betting windows, the Veranda deck bar, and most importantly, Shake Shack.
For the ladies - we all know the racetrack is all about the fashions. No hat? --> No problem! Fascinators and hats are available here at the track!
Here we are with family
Picnics in the open areas. Pizza and sandwiches. Just an all around good time.
Get here very early and claim a picnic table by putting a tablecloth on it. Then go back to sleep & return later. (And don't mess with the picnic table with the Becks tablecloth on it!)
Gonna win this time!
Ninth race comin' up!
Lots of excitement. Play to win, but place and show are equally rewarding. Have fun.
Tip big, bet small, talk to everybody, explore everything and BYOB.
Bring your own cooler
This is a great track with lots of history and very nice ambiance. My only complaint is that some people smoke those stinky cigars like chimneys!
Tip your teller!!! Today is 8/17 and my window is 817
Bring your breakfast with you and sit in the boxseats; nothing beats a beautiful morning at the track.
an awesomely old timey track for watching the ponies. call ahead and reserve a table in the clubhouse and go to the terrace for best views. and you best eat fried chicken at Hattie's stand for lunch!
Dress nice and go with a group of friends!
Can bring your own food and beer in
Time to get lucky at the horse races!
They raffle off the worst horse of the day at the end of the 15th race. Sit in row F for the best chance of winning (don't ask why, just do it).
JUST THE TIP JUST THE TIP
I coming here this summer.
Turf Terrace is the place to be, remember to bring singles to the men's room for the attendant and he'll handicap the race for you.
4 tents to the right of the main gate is a white tent. $5 for hot dog, soda, and Saratoga chips.
Drinking works better than betting

Get in early to get a good spot by the TVs
Beautiful day at the Skidmore College Saratoga Classic Horse Show,
Fun place to go during Track Season!! Beautiful place
Oldest organized sporting venue in US still operating. After race, head into town & enjoy sidewalk musicians while strolling Broadway & deciding where to dine. -Suggested tip from Edward C., associate
Head to the top of the stretch on the apron and hang out in the sun on the benches. Its less crowded and you ask me for a hot tip.
