    It was a great day and experience. Cheap entrance fee bring a cooler with some drinks and food to save money for the betting. Watch out for the sun it gets intense.

    If you don't have clubhouse access, it's hard to beat a high top table at the Post. You are close to everything; the Paddock, betting windows, the Veranda deck bar, and most importantly, Shake Shack.

    Get here very early and claim a picnic table by putting a tablecloth on it. Then go back to sleep & return later. (And don't mess with the picnic table with the Becks tablecloth on it!)

    an awesomely old timey track for watching the ponies. call ahead and reserve a table in the clubhouse and go to the terrace for best views. and you best eat fried chicken at Hattie's stand for lunch!

    Take the Tram tour in the morning, breakfast is so so. Get here by 8am if you want a picnic table and make sure to watch at least one race from the top of the stretch!

    Most of the food is bad or pricey. Locate 5 Points Deli/Store. They make great, fresh subs. Grab a drink and some chips. Bring it with you. I prefer the ham and Swiss myself!
