After Japan I couldn't eat sushi in Europe... UNTIL I WENT TO Sasaya!! Super fresh and yummy I couldn't get enough. This is my little Japan in Berlin. You won't find anything better.

You have to reserve in advance and it's always full, but worth it. Hands down the best sushi I've had in Berlin, and at quite good prices too. Try the vanilla ice cream with Matcha sauce on top.

    Nando Rossi · January 26

Love this place and have to control myself when ordering on every visit. Service has always been warm and the sake menu is interesting. Make reservations in time and mind your socks when floor seated.

Wasn't as good as I expected, but I would still say that the food here is good. The service was a bit slow and not the friendliest possible.

Absolutely the best sushi in Berlin. Go alone or you'll never get in without a reservation. Insider tip: George Clooney prefers the front left corner. If the paper walls are out he's in there. Yum!

    SandyInBerlin · February 1, 2014

Great place but the waitress seemed to have forgotten us for many minutes.

    Pei-Ling Wu · January 30, 2014
  • Elias L.

Charmingly busy atmosphere around lunch time. However, the dishes are quite small for their price and the presentation of the food was not great.

    Elias Liedholm · October 31, 2013
  • Karolina S.

For more homey atmosphere and way better sushi go to Gingi Sushi Sashimi, which is nearby. For *the best* sushi in Berlin go to Kuchi. This is mediocre.

I've heard so much of here but actually the food isn't that good. Good fish, good portions but really expensive for what it is. Not worthy in my opinion. Also the place is noisy and the crew is rude.
