3-for-1 drinks at brunch (about $10 for 3), but disappointed in my simple scramble eggs with toast. My friend's pancakes were good, though. Maybe this place is better for dinner?
bartender was cool af but pappardelle was all stuck together + sauces were bland. menu has been trimmed. kinda fell off?
Great spot for a Sunday Italian meal on the lower east side. Try the zucchini matchsticks as an app and get the braciole for dinner
Sehr gute Pasta. Leider Musik etwas zu laut und Tischaufstellung unpraktisch (Tische in Reihen, sehr eng).
Lasagne is as good as you will ever find.
You can order from the full dinner menu at the bar and sometimes get seated there a lot faster than for a table. Really delicious!
Great food, music and people, price is very reasonable
Great food and wine, outdoor seating is nice in the summer. Their taste in music is a bit questionable tho.
One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Order the grilled octopus salad as a starter and split the polenta for your main. If they have the burrata, order that too.
dinner $14-17, outdoor seating
killer french toast $12, outdoor seating
Killer playlist and solid wine selection. Food is on point as well. You could get the polenta plank for presentation alone but it also happens to be damn tasty.
Burrata burrata burrata and raw beef w arugula 🐮
get the pappardelle bolognese, meatballs & tiramisu SO GOOD
Kale salad with a side of meatballs... PERFETTO!
Just amazing food. The Stars were the polenta and bolognese appetiser and the pana cotta dessert. Fab place.
You can't go without getting The Plank for two. It's not on the brunch menu but just ask.
If truffles are an option, get truffles. If truffles are not an option, camp out until they are.
Freshest and tastiest Burrata!
Good food great romantic but busy ambiance. Solid if u just want some old school Italian turned contemporary. Good service.
meh. pasta came out shockingly fast and tasted like it was cooked hours ago but microwaved seconds after we ordered... so Occam's razor?
The spaghetti and meatballs here are amazing! Don't get the burrata & rigatoni special though...$27 for a bowl of noodles and cheese with olive oil is not worth it.
Great quality pasta, feels like a home cooked meal!
I had some incredible kale gnocchi, but you can't go wrong with classic spaghetti and meatballs either!
The mashed potatoes with basil oil is definitely one of my favorite sides.
Polenta plank with Bolognese. order it
Portions are small (good). Complimentary bread tasty.
Hard to recommend anything in particular as everything is out of control good
They do a really great carbonara. Egg on pasta is a strange and wonderful thing my friends.
High quality pasta with 'proper' smaller portion sizes a la Europe. Get the ragu meatballs!!
They take AMEX!!
Delicious, casual, inexpensive Italian spot. Outdoor seating. Vegetarian friendly. Loved the cavatelli. For added richness go for the add'l dollop of ricotta. Whoa.
Polenta on a plank with bolognese
So good. Perfect portion size and reasonably prized. Will definitely be back. Gnocchi are great.
Food = Good. Music = Excellent!
Fried zucchini match sticks are crack. Scoop them with your hands and stuff your mouth with them. Forget the utensils.
Damn, that polenta and bolognese is sexy.
panna cotta whoa
the burrata comes in on thursdays and sells out quickly. probably related to the fact that you can usually find me at the bar pushing it. don't miss out.
Music is mostly top 40 from 2007, which kills any romantic vibe in this beautiful Italian restaurant.
SO Disappointing. Bolognese tastes like Chef Boyardee. Were in and out in 15 mins, defiantly felt rushed. Couldn't even finish my food, that bad tasting.
Awesome Place and Great Food. Spaghetti with Meatballs and a Glass of Wine is a perfect call. Best Italian food I had in NY, reminded me my Nona's food.
Awesome Place & Great food! Peça um spaghetti com meatballs, a massa é caseira feita no próprio restaurante. Melhor comida italiana de NY, lembrou a comida da minha Nona.
Delicious restaurant. Veronese is a good choice with a good wine.
Get a pasta dish!
I recommend the sauce.
Exquisite. Simply exquisite.
Best chick parm ever! No joke.
The chicken parm is out of this world. Best gravy in NYC (counting my mom's!). Skip the polenta/bolognese plank though... It's basically a slop poured on some wood and is missing substance.
If you're salt-sensitive, don't get the grass-fed bolognese sauce, garlic bread, or the Grandmother's tomato gravy. It's super-salty!
