The North East Line (NEL) is one of the world’s first fully automatic underground heavy rail systems. Built at a cost of $4.6 billion, the NEL has 16 stations and is 20-km long.
Travelling from one end of this line to the other end (HarbourFront - Punggol) takes about 33 mins...
Reminder: North East Line (NEL) train operator is under SBS Transit not SMRT. =)
Love the MRT so easy to get around it...
This time of the day also crowded.
To prevent crowded.. Avoid timing from 0700-0900hrs
In order to get place to seat... Sengkang passenger has to go backward direction. Sengkang -> Punggol -> Sengkang
Doorway to hell!
