    While a bit on the "tourist-y" side of things, makes up by a cozy atmosphere (gets packed!) and an interesting smoke(d?) beer; Try the Rauchbier Weizen (wheat). Must also try the Bamberger Zwiebel !

    The brats were awesome and paired with a Rausch beer, it made a great meal. If you're in Germany, this is a must-stop!

    It doesn't get more authentic than smoky beer in Bamberg at Schlenkerla. Beer pilgrimage worthy.

    The Original Schlenkerla Smokebeer is exported globally and most recently won a gold medal at the 2015 Australian Beer Awards. Now, during lenten season, you can also savor the very special lentbeer.

    Great beer, pour from an oak keg. The brewery is not there and it can't be visited, but having this beer is highly recommended.

    It's touristic, so be warned! Rauchbier is good, but quite special. Don't waste your time for anything else: have a during and go on, don't waste the time for the food!

    Beer and lunch for a very reasonable price, specially for a traditional and touristic place. Great smoky beer and food! They have only some veggie options, but u're here specially for the beer, right?

    The seasonal bock beer just slightly fortifies the amazing taste of the smoky marzen. Unique and great taste. Food is only average unfortunately.

    Came back to have my Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier again after 7 years. Well worth the detour :)

    After letting your mind understand the amazingness of rauchbier, order the bamberger zwiebel and get blown away again. Amazing food pairing (helps when the sauce is made from the rauchbier)

    Echt urig. Vorsicht. Es gibt nur eine Art von Bier und auch nur in einer Größe. Und wenn ihr zu spät kommt, ist alles "bereits aufgegessen". 😂

    И не пугайтесь, здесь принято подсаживаться к другим людям и столам, а также если есть место и к вам подсадят. При этом у них принято завязать небольшую беседу, несмотря даже на языковой барьер

    Настоящее копченое пиво - Aecht Schlenkerla Raychbier. Не пугайтесь по поводу где разместиться, - пивоварня и при ней трактир достаточный чтобы вместить кучу желающих.

    В качестве сувенира есть 5 сортов копченого пива (самое обычное около 5 градусов, нефильтрованое, "резаное", и два крепких пива (6,5% и 8%). В Москве продается всего лишь один сорт такого пива.

    Есть сувенирная лавка, где в качестве сувенира или подарка можно приобрести кружки, значки и другую пивную атрибутику бамберской пивоварни. А также можно прирбрести и привезти бутылочного пива
