Located in downtown St. Paul, the Science Museum of Minnesota is the Upper Midwest's must-see, must-do museum.

Voted the Best Museum by City Pages in 2011! It's known for bringing in big exhibits, like King Tut and the Dead Sea Scrolls, but the regular galleries and experimental rooms are not to be missed!
Go find the Mummy. It's a hidden gem and highly controversial, which the museum treats with respect.
Get your tickets too see the King Tut exhibit! It's amazing
come early on weekend days to avoid the crowd.
Please have an idea of what you want prior to heading to the box office. This helps speed things up!

Go and check out the pirate exhibit while it's still here! There was an incredible variety of interesting things to look at- my family and I loved it!
Do the Omnitheater first-then the exhibits. You'll feel less rushed

They have REAL dinosaur skeletons!
There is a great cell exhibit right now. You can swab your own cheeks and see them under a microscope.

Mini golf and a labyrinth out back are very cool. Best mini golf I have ever seen.

Save your money if your going to go see the ultimate dinosaurs exhibit! The whole thing is a total of three rooms. It is poorly put together and there is only about 20 dinosaurs all together.
Get the pass! It pays for itself :)

Plan on being here all day especially if you have kids with you!!
You can't be more than 5 min late for a movie or they will seriously not let you in. The guy with this tiny bit of authority takes it very very serious.
Go downstairs and play putt-putt golf! Its the best course around!
The Maya exhibit is pretty cool. You can skip the IMAX movie, though.
