It's worth a stop on your way or way back from Arthur's Seat. You can sit in the back audience during a live session for free. The wood interior of The Debating Chamber is quite nice.
Hope there is an inside tour soon
Not much to do inside. Cold building.
Fantastic guided tour from Gordon!
There is a fantastic Cryptic Clue Treasure Hunt that starts at the bottom of The Royal Mile, just download the free app, Global Treasure Apps,
I like the building. Public official buildings should be a bit daft, it punctures the natural sanctimoniousness of people who tend to inhabit them.
Warhol exhibit is very good if you've got the time to visit it
В кафе говорят по-русски
Don't miss the photography exhibition!
Better book the tour well in advance!!
Faire le visite guidée. Très intéressant sur la vie politique en Écosse et magnifique bâtiment.
I hate how this place looks all that money spent on this and it looks like a childs gang hut
Get coffee from the cafe in garden lobby. Fair trade too.

Scottish Parliament purchases an astonishing 100% of its electricity from renewable sources like wind turbines, hydro and biomass. Water/heat consumption and waste management are handled sustainably.
They even have a parliament shop where you can buy your own
Don't take scissors or sharp/metal objects inside. Airport style security checks.
Strange looking building...
Take the guided tour - whatever your views on the outside, you'll be impressed with the interior + its free!
