Best thing about summer in DC. Movie starts around 8:45, but get there by 7 to snag a good spot. People bring picnics but be aware that alcohol is *technically* prohibited.

Get here early to secure your spot on the grass. Gets packed pretty quick.
definitely remember to show up early. You REALLY don't want to be the guy coming in at showtime and plopping down on someone.
Use Neighborsations animals as landmarks to find your friends. Or sit with peeps from your 'hood. DuPont has an elephant. Logan Circle has a zebra. U Street peeps can sit near the giraffe.
Get there early; early being before sundown. And if you're ambitious enough, around 7pm.
Arrive by 7ish to get a good seat for the 8:30ish start time.
Great for a picnic and an old movie. Hard to beat the setting!
