Brand new rescued sea turtle has arrived! She's adorable! She's a green sea turtle named Ziva.
Save your money.
They have a new jellyfish exhibit opening that is incredible. Make sure you stop by and check it out. Ziva and Fry, their rescued sea turtles, are a must see. A great place for birthday parties.
Geeze folks, quit your whining. There's a damn aquarium in Tempe attached to a mall. If you want low priced fish, go to Lon John silvers... Wah wah
Buy your tickets in advance at the food court kiosk or online. You can move into the fast track line and enter quickly.
Make sure you use online coupons
Use some coupons and take a visit! Its not as huge as the Wildlife World Zoo but it is very convinient to NOT have to drive all the way to the Zoo. Much easier to come to the mall
My family of adults loved this along with family from out of town. Great place to go - <3
We have the membership and think it's worth the value. It's nice to go whenever and for however long we want to. My 2 year old loves it.
Get there early, long line wait just to get in.
Don't miss Fry, the other sea turtle here besides Ziva, in the shoreline part of the aquarium.
This Father's Day Dads get in for the Kids Price! Dads can purchase their tickets at the Admissions counter on Sunday, June 17th and receive admission for just $12- a savings of $6!
You don't have to travel far to have fun!
Most of the reefs are artificial and they don't have a lot of live coral, but they do have a wide variety of saltwater fish.
Address is 5000 not 500.
It's smaller than you might imagine, and bring a sweater.
Great place to take the kiddo!
I like the layout of this place but it's a little small and expensive.
There is tunnel....through a giant tank of water !
Good aquarium for little kids with short attention spans
The excitement for the kids is worth the money. Great time for adults as well.
People leaving tips about it being too expensive clearly don't understand how much money it costs to maintain an aquarium. Great place! Highly suggest visiting! (Also, it's only $18, cheapskates.)
Great place to visit my 3 year and my 9 month old loved it
Scratch off answers: rrrbybrby
Quite pricey for the time it takes to go through. Made it sound like they had more sharks in the "shark tunnel"
Tickets are half the price online!!
My kids (3 & 6) had a great time here. It's a little expensive, but if you buy the tickets online or at Costco it's not too bad. We spent about 4 hours here, so it was a fun half-day activity.
Find coupons on line. It's local and convenient but not too much to see. Nice for a date or hangout with friends if you are new in the area. Keeps you out from the Arizona heat. More for children.
Good luck dodging the old people with flash cameras in the poor fishys face!
Not bad for an aquarium in a mall in Arizona. They do need to update their exhibit signs and make it easier to know the names of the fish in the tank.
Thanksgiving Day Adults get in for Kids Price when you purchase your tickets at the Admissions counter. Enjoy a fun craft activity and watch creatures eat their Thanksgiving meals, starting at 10:15am
Expensive for 30ish minutes of sealift
Buy the tickets online and you save tons!!
Great place for kids. My boyfriend and I had fun and took lots of pictures. My only problem is that octopus did not have enough room, it should have been kept in a bigger tank.
There are 2 lines, poorly marked, for people who bought tickets already or are waiting to buy tickets. If you arrive when both are empty and line up in the wrong one, Phoenix residents get mad &snarky
This is a relatively inexpensive gem that is local. Forget going out to the Wildlife Experience unless you really want to drive halfway to LA.
Definitely get a membership! It will save you money in the long run!
Never pay full price!
Gift shop has some decent pirate merchandise -- most items are $8+
A little pricy but you can find coupons in the mall food court. Great place to take the kids when it's 100+ degrees out! Good selection of fish and predators. Check out the cow fish near the end!!
At the Tropical Bay of Rays area, people can bend down to take a closer look at the rays and small sharks through the tank's inner windows - these make you feel as if you're inside the tank.
It's the greatest zen spot in Tempe. It does cost more than the McDonalds Playland, but you can't have everything...
Way overpriced, you can buy tickets online and save some money $$$$
Buy tickets online the day before. The lines are very long for tickets.
