    Great experience, but if you have a car, it's just as quick driving thru Tacoma if you're heading to/from Bremerton - and saves you $20.

    I like riding the ferry across the water for a view of the skyline. It's also very fun to catch the ferry to San Juan Islands. In season you'll see orcas. Once there I think you can dig for oysters?

    With current construction, if coming from I-90, drive north thru downtown (or take collector/distributor to Madison) then left on Madison and left into ferry line. Waiting on Alaska Way takes forever.

    Turn OFF your car alarm... The rest of the car deck does NOT need to hear it blaring because you think someone is going to steal your car. We are on a boat crossing ocean water, really it's safe!!!!

    When you're on the boat, watch for seals, jellyfish, maybe even an orca! (rare) Puget Sound is beautiful, so we need to protect it.

    The Bainbridge ferry crossing is about 45 min, the Bremerton is 1 hour. Depending on where you're headed and how many ferries you are going to miss, taking one or the other might save you some time.

    As the ferry captains have announced upon departure, nobody's going to steal your car during the trip. Don't set your car alarm. It will just annoy everyone who stays on the car deck during the trip.

    Take a Seattle-to-Bainbridge ferry just prior to sunset. Debark at Bainbridge Island and get right back in line to come back to Seattle. Best water/sunset/nighttime view in Seattle.

    The TaxiCab drivers will ask you where u are going. If you dont say airport they blow u off to another driver. Call King Co Hotline get the cab # and tell em if this happens 2 u. They cant refuse u.
