    Make sure if you are carrying a harmonica that you are playing it as you pass through. Not only does it show the X-ray folk it's harmless, it lightens the mood of an otherwise boring queue.

    If you're connecting from a UK domestic flight on a UK passport you still have to go through passport control! Don't waste time looking for the sensible alternative - there isn't one!
