This Ann Arbor / Detroit vegetarian hotspot continues to impress with its clever and expansive menu and attractive drink specials. The juice bar offerings help out, too. [Eater 38 Member]

same tired old ideas a lot of vegetarian restaurants default to (w/buzzwords!), but it doesn't bode well when a vegetarian place can't even make decent black beans. good hot sauce and staff though.

Had the yam fries (w/ vegan bbq sauce) and pad thai, and both were terrific! Be sure to try the fruit juice as well. The orange blast was refreshing!

The gold standard in vegetarian fare -- just opened its Detroit location on Forest Avenue. You get the same imaginative menu and friendly service here, too. Read more

The cilantro peanut stir fry is pretty killer. And if you're in the mood for a juice--the Cool Breeze is fantastic. My favorite way to consume beets? Liquid.

We love Seva! Unfortunately today we had to walk out..... 55 mins and still no food. Waitress was straight clueless. Finally checked, manager said would give us 25% off but never came to table. #Fail

Great food, mostly organic. My fav: scrambled eggs w/spinach and jack cheddar and toast. Couple that with a Patron gimlet and you've got a great meal!

Vegan options are plentiful, but we recommend the seva club, with faux turkey, smoked coconut, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and vegan aioli, all on signature bread.

Unlike the Ann Arbor location, the Detroit Seva does not have regular French fries, only yam fries. Otherwise, this place is great!
