Serving authentic Italian American food in the heart of Congress Park, Shells and Sauce brings Old Country taste to a cozy neighborhood restaurant.
Spicy rosa sauce!
I usually get the French Toast but next time I will step outside my comfort zone.
One of my absolutely favorite restaurants in Denver. Try something new, it's all fantastic! &good service. I'll be going back very soon.
Everything is good here, especially the brunch menu. Killer mimosas.
We had a reservation but got seated in the chilly upstairs. Good bread and mozzarella sticks. Ravioli was yummy. Service sucked! Not worth the prices.
My local watering hole with the best happy hour specials and the best brunch bacon in all of Denver!
Prepare to wait if you are going on a Friday Night. Despite wonderful pasta.
Get the chicken and waffles.
Vesuvio eggs Benedict was delicious.
Chicken Parmesan is insane! Both in size and taste.
Definitely call ahead for lasagna and the chicken parm is really great (but split it between two people or take home half). All portions, including salads, are definitely large and filling.
Pitchers of mimosas make for a good start to the weekend.
Can't believe more people aren't talking about the lasagna. After ever bite I kept saying, "this is so good." Dining area downstairs is a little cramped, but it is completely worth it.
Great happy hour, friendly staff. Perfect little neighborhood Italian restaurant!
Great portions. The chicken and waffle was terrific. Motown music in the background is a bonus.
A pleasant surprise! Cute neighborhood spot, great food, great wine. Next time want to sit on the patio. Will be back for sure !!
Great place for food and fun. Relaxed dining with a great staff. Jamie was friendly, helpful, and attentive without ever being intrusive.
My favorites are on the board or on the brunch menu. Try the crab cake Benedict, the skillet, the chicken and waffles. Some day I'll try the banana foster pancakes. Yum!
Really great food at affordable prices.
Great happy hour and a fun place for a first date. Great wine list and not over priced. #firstdate #denver
Get the sliders! Also the Marsala is really good! BTW, happy hour everyday from 3 to 6! Don't miss it!
Yum! Try the stuffed shells, amazing, butternut squash & melty cheese. The bread is great too!
Food wasn't bad, however you will pay top dollar for the same meal you would have gotten at Olive Garden.
Chicken and Waffles Brunch!!!
Try the bottomless bloodies or mimosas. Can't beat the price!
For brunch, sit at the bar upstairs and enjoy a tasty bloody Mary.
Happy hour: 3-6 & 9-Close Tue-Sun. 1/2 of pizza
Stuffed Shells are a must. The bread dip at the begining is amazing, bring an appetite!
Awesome wine, service and food, just do it,
Best Crab Benedict in Denver
This is not a fast meal place. Make sure you have plenty of time to dine. Try the truffle parmesan fries. They go good with ANYTHING.
The lasagna and a spinach salad is a full and satisfying meal. Oh, and SUPER yummy!
Adam Joseph is a beautiful man!!!!
Try any of the antipasti on the board, always $4!
You have to try the Vesuvia salad and penne russa.
Be sure to eat upstairs on the patio during nice weather - it's lovely! Also nice bar up there to just grab a beer.
Rooftop patio now open for the summer! New $4 well cocktails during happy hour!
