Good for family vacations to visit San Francisco. If that's not what you are doing, stay elsewhere.
Avoid area but if you can't, this is an affordable, standard and acceptable option with pool deck but small gym
Great location.. surrounded with all kinds of restaurants and attractions.
Lobby and conference rooms are newly renovated. Outside patio was gas heated.
Crazy that guests have to pay for (very slow) Internet 2015. Interior just slightly more glamorous than an elderly home. Try to get a room that doesn't face the noisy street.
So much noise all night you can't sleep. Car alarms. Motorcycles. People yelling outside and down the hall. The room was clean but unimpressive. Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it.
Its near the pier 39 just that! The room is horrible, no freezer inside and the Wi-Fi just work at the lobby. Its too expensive for a horrible Service
Free WiFi in the room for Starwoods points collectors. :) Just tell your front desk your number.
Avoid the taxi queue and install Uber application on your smartphone. Enjoy the ride 👍👍
Keeping warm by the fireplace
Rooms are very spacious, with a little bit of beach feel. Staff is great. Only complaint is bathrooms are kind of small. Very close to good restaurants. I would definitely come back
Good location. But touristy and be prepared for a lot of noise. From the cars outside to people walking around in the rooms around you.
There's a 7-Eleven and Safeway across the street from here. Pick up drinks and snacks there.
You will be gouged on parking. $50 per day self park, $55 per day valet PLUS a $7 per day parking tax.
Only $46 to park overnight while you are staying here! What a steal!!!! /sarcasm
Good location but overprice.
It's noisy outside, feels like a Youth Hostel and sometimes unfriendly service, but ok to stay for some nights.
Forget the $25 a person breakfast buffet. There is an IHOP across the street.
Love the conditioner for ur hair:)
The hotel is quite good but the services aren't as good, wifi is only avaiable in the lobby and it's very slow, while you have to pay a 15$ fee if you want it in your room.
Worst hotel ever. 52 dollars a day parking...for guests! Terrible service. Slow, unprofessional. Tiny rooms and showers. Ugly architecture and interior design. 15 dollar internet.
Vending machines that take credit cards
Skip paid WIFI. It's too weak. Can't seem to purchase a kindle book!
I know places charge, but it's 2013. It can't be THAT expensive to offer free wireless Internet to guests. Especially if they're preferred guests!!!
Getting a cab here is almost impossible. And don't pay 100$ for hotel town car to take you on a round trip.
Get a room on 3rd or 4th floor for best view and no street noise.
Been here twice, and that's 2 many. Weak by SPG standards.
One of my favorite places to stay: Walkable to Trader Joe's, medium walk to Greens and Filbert steps, longer but beautiful walk to Ferry building.
It's a hotel, in San Francisco, in a touristy part of town. Of course EVERYTHING will be expensive. If you want cheap coffee and drinks, go around the corner to the 7-Eleven or stay somewhere else.
No platinum... Anything. Complain about it for free breakfast. Internet is hard limited to 360kbps.
Only an idiot would drive and park a car in San Francisco! Save a lot of money and ride Muni.
Whoever said to get a room by the elevator obviously doesn't sleep... Noise levels are ridiculous. You can't make the room dark with the frilly window shades.
Get a seat at the fireplaces …a lovely place in the evening
Exceeded my expectations of 1. a Sheraton and 2. a Sheraton located in touristy part of town.
Good hotel right by Fisherman's Wharf. Decent sized rooms and reasonable rates. But careful of the doormen trying to get you to pay double for a town car ride rather than taxi.
It is easier to open a bank account then it is to check in to this hotel. Pay the extra money, stay at Park 55 or The Argonaut.
I have been in many hotels for work, and play but this was the worst and most expensive one eeeevvveerrrrrr! Beds are uncomfortable the most updated thing in my room was the shower head! Never again!
Okay price to get you on, then $45 a night for parking, $16 for Internet, $30 for taxes and fees. $5 extra delivery fee on top of the $7 for a bagel. We will not be coming back.
Decent enough if you want to be in the Wharf/North Beach area, but cld use some updating. In-room Internet is $16/day, v slow; free in lobby. No restaurant/bar, more a glorified concessions w booze
Avoid the $45 per day parking fee by parking at metered spots (free until 8a) or neighborhood spots 2 blocks away (open parking until 10a).
Visiting the historic Golden Gate Bridge will be easy—you can take a hop-on hop-off bus tour that will take you there. The famous fisherman's wharf is also just a few minutes' walk from here.
The Internet speeds are a disastrophe, especially given the $15 per day charge. Remember that old dial up modem ten years ago? That was high speed comparatively.
Balconies in the rooms, parking is terrible and expensive, but the hotel is nice, try not to get lost in the maze of hallways!
This place is a dump. Thin windows in a loud neighborhood. The makes your bed shake. Avoid at all costs!
$6.60 for à Corona, slow wifi and very noisy neighborhood. I am not coming back here.
Presidential suite for SPG members is huge
Parking is ridicules! But it's really close to the the water front. Not too bad all in all.
Great location, clean hotel, free wireless in lobby BUT leave bread crumbs from the elevator to your room. The place is a maze.
The in-room wifi is abysmal, I'll be asking for my money back on it.
