Get a room next to the elevator...this hotel is like a labyrinth!
Wifi is $15 per 24 hours in the room, but it's free in the lobby.
Visiting the historic Golden Gate Bridge will be easy—you can take a hop-on hop-off bus tour that will take you there. The famous fisherman's wharf is also just a few minutes' walk from here.
Solid outdoor space: a heated pool for sunny afternoons and firepits (with plenty of seating) for foggy nights.
Avoid the $45/day parking at all costs
If you are here for work or just need to sleep, ask for a room away from the driveway. Bar closes at 11:30 and people continue to hang out outside near the fire-pits until past midnight.
Exceeded my expectations of 1. a Sheraton and 2. a Sheraton located in touristy part of town.
I have been in many hotels for work, and play but this was the worst and most expensive one eeeevvveerrrrrr! Beds are uncomfortable the most updated thing in my room was the shower head! Never again!
Not what I expected... Think Ocean City Maryland East Coast people.
It's a hotel, in San Francisco, in a touristy part of town. Of course EVERYTHING will be expensive. If you want cheap coffee and drinks, go around the corner to the 7-Eleven or stay somewhere else.
Only an idiot would drive and park a car in San Francisco! Save a lot of money and ride Muni.
Take advantage of the free wi-fi in the lobby. Room wi-fi costs, but is fast (enough for streaming video). Also take a walk a block down to Jefferson st for eats and entertainment.
I know places charge, but it's 2013. It can't be THAT expensive to offer free wireless Internet to guests. Especially if they're preferred guests!!!
Okay price to get you on, then $45 a night for parking, $16 for Internet, $30 for taxes and fees. $5 extra delivery fee on top of the $7 for a bagel. We will not be coming back.
You will be gouged on parking. $50 per day self park, $55 per day valet PLUS a $7 per day parking tax.
Worst hotel ever. 52 dollars a day parking...for guests! Terrible service. Slow, unprofessional. Tiny rooms and showers. Ugly architecture and interior design. 15 dollar internet.
Get a room on 3rd or 4th floor for best view and no street noise.
It is easier to open a bank account then it is to check in to this hotel. Pay the extra money, stay at Park 55 or The Argonaut.
Decent enough if you want to be in the Wharf/North Beach area, but cld use some updating. In-room Internet is $16/day, v slow; free in lobby. No restaurant/bar, more a glorified concessions w booze
Avoid the $45 per day parking fee by parking at metered spots (free until 8a) or neighborhood spots 2 blocks away (open parking until 10a).
Balconies in the rooms, parking is terrible and expensive, but the hotel is nice, try not to get lost in the maze of hallways!
Parking is ridicules! But it's really close to the the water front. Not too bad all in all.
Great location, clean hotel, free wireless in lobby BUT leave bread crumbs from the elevator to your room. The place is a maze.
Their Eco-friendly dry cleaning service is great and not too pricey.
Enjoy a bottle of wine by one of the outdoor fireplaces. Reasonable prices.
Only $46 to park overnight while you are staying here! What a steal!!!! /sarcasm
The hotel is quite good but the services aren't as good, wifi is only avaiable in the lobby and it's very slow, while you have to pay a 15$ fee if you want it in your room.
Getting a cab here is almost impossible. And don't pay 100$ for hotel town car to take you on a round trip.
Good hotel right by Fisherman's Wharf. Decent sized rooms and reasonable rates. But careful of the doormen trying to get you to pay double for a town car ride rather than taxi.
Mom always said to try and say something nice. So...... The bad are comfy, that's it!
Quite expensive in-room-wifi 14,99 $ per day and device. Try to connect with the free and open wifi from the Wharf Inn. In some rooms it works very well. That is good service, Sheraton!
The elevators suck in this place. One is always broken, and those lines !
Paid room wifi is not guaranteed fast. It probably depends how far your room is from the router. Frequent disconnections and disappearing hotspots. I want my money back!
To say the little cafe in the lobby is expensive would be an understatement. $6 for 2 shots of espresso?! $4 for juice? I've seen better in room autobar prices at higher end hotels!
Not the worst place to stay, pretty clean and standard. Ask for a room away from the bus depot, it gets loud early.
We got a great price that's comparable to rates in the Tenderloin.... But they get you with the parking. Free room wi-fi should exist here.
Good location. But touristy and be prepared for a lot of noise. From the cars outside to people walking around in the rooms around you.
There's a 7-Eleven and Safeway across the street from here. Pick up drinks and snacks there.
Good location but overprice.
It's noisy outside, feels like a Youth Hostel and sometimes unfriendly service, but ok to stay for some nights.
Forget the $25 a person breakfast buffet. There is an IHOP across the street.
Love the conditioner for ur hair:)
Vending machines that take credit cards
Skip paid WIFI. It's too weak. Can't seem to purchase a kindle book!
Been here twice, and that's 2 many. Weak by SPG standards.
One of my favorite places to stay: Walkable to Trader Joe's, medium walk to Greens and Filbert steps, longer but beautiful walk to Ferry building.
No platinum... Anything. Complain about it for free breakfast. Internet is hard limited to 360kbps.
Whoever said to get a room by the elevator obviously doesn't sleep... Noise levels are ridiculous. You can't make the room dark with the frilly window shades.
