Shofuso Japanese House & Garden is a traditional-style Japanese house and nationally-ranked garden that reflects the history of Japanese culture in Philadelphia. Shofuso is open for visitation, group tours, private tea ceremonies and wedding ceremonies from April to October.
For a great view of the garden and pond without having to enter the property, sit on the ledge along Belmont Drive. Also, visit on April 15th for Fairmount Park's annual Cherry Blossom Festival!
Take a tour of the stunning gardens and historical Japanese House, built in 1953 in Japan and moved to Philadelphia in 1958 after a stint at MOMA in NYC.
