Tapas gem! great service with amazing food. and cute waiters don't hurt.
Sangria is very nice! Montaditos & Gambas al. ajillo are very good. Calamares fritos Awesome!
Best romantic view of downtown on the back patio! Get the blood sausage, you won't regret it!
Not good for parties of 8 or more. 30 per person minimum plus you have less options in the menu.
Don't forget to try their seafood tapas!
Sangrias! Quail was delicious!
Crispy pork belly in chocolate sauce.
Get a table by the back windows. Thumbs up to the cauliflower gratin, fried okra and shrimp in garlic sauce.
Best Spanish tapas with cream cheese ever! (Well, after those in Barcelona)
Cozy and rustic - great for a date or an intimate dinner with friends. But it can be loud when it's busy.
Cafe con leche martini.. Don't mind if I do!
VEGETARIANS: The veggie paella is not vegetarian. It has chicken stock in the rice. There are lots of veggie options though!
Sangria Is so good, calamari and Patatas bravas with great atmosphere and excellent service.
Good tapas very flavorful !!!
Blood sausage, green beans, potatoes with two sauces and artichokes are all delicious. Best tapas place in Dallas. Tapas at Sangria in Uptown don't even compare.
Go early. Order the entire happy hour menu.
It was amazing.
Try happy hour Monday-Thurs before 7pm. A table for two can get food and drinks for less than $30. Great deal.
Happy hour is 4-7pm Mon - Thurs. $12 pitchers (which are about 5-6 glasses) and a good selection of $3 tapas. Great way to try more of their menu for less.
Loved the pork tenderloin and the flash fried okra. Drinks and desserts are also great! We will be back.
Mussels are outstanding!
Tip: For dog watchers, request a patio seat at the rear of the restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
don't sit at the table next to the butcher paper tearing machine
I gotta say... This place is great! It's keeping up with Spanish trends... Red wine with Coke or Sprite. 5 plates for 2 people is perfect! Their sangria is good, too. I suggest a pitcher.
Awesome sangria! $12 pitchers for happy hour mon-thurs 4-7!
Excellent food. Great service. We came with our one year old and they were wonderful helping us out. Absolutely recommend
the shark was delicious, a tiny salty from the rock salt. the tuna empanadas excellent! try an Echegaray drink.
Definitely a hidden pearl in Uptown. $18 pitcher of Sangria. Fast service, great food. Hint: Try the blood sausage... It's a lot better than you'd think.
The owner was born in Triana, so that explains everything. The food is fabulous!
Best tapas place in Dallas--much better than Cafe Madrid or Sangria. Cute house, great atmosphere, wonderful food. Try the pork with caramelized onions & the green beans w/ serrano & mustard sauce!
Get the fried okra! The best prepared okra I have ever had!
Great happy hour... Monday- Thursday 4pm to 7pm...$3.00 tapas and select house drinks are half off...try the ECHEGARAY....Spanish version of a mojito...it's delicious!
Beautiful sight of downtown, great garden, romantic soft lights, and sangría to die for. Best tortilla española in town. Much better than Café Madrid (can't believe they charge you for bread).
Try the ham croquettes. Delicious!
Texified tapas. Meh.
This place is amazing. Cafe Madrid was a disappointment compared to this. The cod and jamon croquettes are wonderful. Will be a repeat customer.
Where is andy Y.
Service is terrible here. Had a miserable experience with a big group. Our tab was over $400 but they still insisted on charging us $15 more because we brought our own dessert.
Cheap decent tapas.. Very slow service every time I've come here.. I think I'll stick with cafe madrid
...of meat and it's tough. Other good things: pollo en cerveza, montadita de casa lucas, atun de la plancha, asparagus. Not so good: lobster canneloni, tuna empanada.
If you get the montaditas make sure you get the sobrasada - it's delicious. The green beans with ham are amazing. Pincho moruno is hit or miss. Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes they use a bad cut
Great view of downtown Dallas when you sit on the patio if you want to go somewhere that doesn't have a huge Dallas scene.
Lastima de la actitud y tacto del "Chef" Jose Luis Lopez. Nada mas con saber que este tipo sigue laborando en este establecimiento basta para no volver. Pésimo tipo.
