The best beach I've ever been to. White soft sand, clear water with perfect temperature and seagulls flying around. It's magical.. Pay it a visit whenever you're in FL

Hands down the best beach I have ever seen in my life. Clean water, good service and less crowd - this is the beach to go to in Florida. Kinda disappointed at the lack of variety of food served there.

It's a peaceful place with soft and white sand. I recommend to go here at sunset, because last time I saw a dolphin swimming close to the shore. If you want you can bring chairs and enjoy nature fully

Make sure to hit the Drum Circle Sunday evenings, one hour before sunset at the Public Beach. The Village, North end of Siesta Key, has many restaurants and shops.

THIS IS THE BEST BEACH IN THE WORLD! The weather is always balmy breezy, There are awesome restaurants a beach walk away. The sand doesn't ever burn your feet. And they just added new parking!

Named the top beach in America for many years, Siesta Key features powder-like white quartz sand and a crystal blue coastline. Mediterranean-like weather too. Great venue for family vacations.

The sugar sand. Great shells and small shark teeth too. Restaurants can be pricy. Back in Sarasota head for Amish area near Bahia VistaTrl, look for Amish restaurant that does the best food.

The recently opened Siesta Beach has been rated the #1 beach in the country! If you're looking for fun in the sun-a day amongst the fine white sand and bright blue waters at this oasis cannot be beat.

The white soft cool sand. This beach is beautiful. Very wide so be prepared to walk to find a spot near the water. It's usually pretty busy.

Amazing cool sand. The color of the water is so beautiful, no waves and a place where you can park your car and take a shower afterwards. What else could you ask for?
  • The Weather Channel
It’s all about the sand at Siesta Beach, on a barrier island in Sarasota County. The sand is 99% pure quartz, so the Gulf Coast beach stays cool even on the hottest days.

The sand is wonderful, almost like powdered sugar. Be prepared to have it EVERYWHERE. Totally worth it though. Also, watch out for the sea gulls...they're dangerous if you have food...

Voted #1 beach in the US! The sand!! It feels like you're walking on powdered sugar!! Looooove this beach, only downside is that it is very difficult to get a parking space.

This is a gorgeous FL beach. No doubt about it. But it is NOT the best beach in FL. Gulf Islands National Seashore as well as Captiva Island are higher on my list.

Voted best beach in America for a reason, white sand as soft as baby powder and crystal clear water. You will find that sand everywhere for days, but worth it!

parking: come around 1:00 - all the old folks are leaving and you can stalk spots pretty easily. If you get really desperate park at the church around the corner for a small ($2-5) donation and walk!

Take a break and downshift into a lower gear. Siesta Key brings out your inner peace and starts the relaxation immediately. Sunsets, exercise, food, and drinks -- the best in Southwest Florida.
