There's a lot of great choices, but get the fried chicken on your first visit. You'll thank me.

I had the chicken and waffles, the waffles were good but, had to pay extra syrup. The chicken had no season and was cooked too hard. The chicken and waffles are better at KD'S in Oklahoma city.

Best southern style food in Dallas! The braised short rib is so tender it melts in your mouth and the fried chicken is excellent. Great vibe and wonderful service AKA southern hospitality 👍🏼

If you're making reservations be aware to ask for appropriate seating. Inside area is nice and dim... Great for dinner. The 'outside' area is bright and good for daytime eating.

Best fried chicken in town. Also have the deviled eggs, fried okra and squash casseole. If you can still eat, have some dessert.

Lisa Garza served her fried chicken for the first time during the Super Bowl to Harrison Ford, Mario Lopez, Hugh Jackman, and others. It had them coming back for seconds. And you'll see why.

I think the chicken is a bit overrated IMO. Babe's is better by far and larger portions. My breast was small as hell...

Order a bunch of plates to share. The fried chicken is must, and the brisket and shrimp & grits are stellar. And save room for the cookies and spiked ice milk. Yum. Best not to wear your skinny jeans!
