Don't go to Jacob's Pickles. Go to Oliver! Love the croque monsieur and polenta with sausage for brunch. Poutine and a good stout is so good at night. And they are the NICEST about dogs on the patio.

The cheese plate is about as light as an astronaut in outerspace....but as our waiter pointed out, "I'm sure it was well-deserved."

Great atmosphere. Decor executed tastefully. Cocktails are tasteful.

Had to ask the hostess to get our waitress and the hostess was very rude when we did. Took forever to get out food. Food wasn't bad but not that great. Won't go again.

Looks like they changed the menu up. Where is the chicken sliders and lamb shepherds pie? Still a decent joint tho.

Good for meetup with buddies for beer, but take the date somewhere with better drinks. The "signature" negroni and "tasty" margarita are pretty bland, which fits in with the food. Stick to the basics.

The grilled cheese itself is a study in buttery sandwich decadence: sharp, pungent cheddar is melted between thick slices of rich brioche that flakes apart with every bite.

Most of the menu is stolen from Jamie Oliver's cookbook. Place is a bit overpriced and waiting for Gordon Ramsey to have this place on his kitchen nightmare show. NAFF

Like everybody says the cocktails are good. Beer though, they serve in these dinky glasses for the same price you'd expect to pay for a full pint.

The one thing thats annoying is that even when they are empty, they won't seat you. This isn't some hip club...its the Upper West side.
