A seriously awesome place to see shows with a smaller crowd.
There's a bathroom downstairs near the coat check. Empty & clean at a sold out show
The sister club of the Great American Music Hall, performers at Slim's know how to rock out. Love the vintage videos without sound they play during intermission.
This is one of our favorite venues in SF. Just small enough to feel intimate, but always a buzzing crowd. And FYI, there are bathrooms downstairs!
Small venue that is really centrally located, easy to bike to and near a lot of good restaurants, grungy, but good acoustics.
Dope SF venue. Definitely make it out to a show
The Decibel Sponsored North American Retribution tour featuring Death Angel, Lazarus AD, Early Man, Bounded By Blood and Hexen stops here on 2/26/11
Not a bad seat in the house. In my experience, handing over a great tip at the beginning of the evening before things get too crowded is SUPER effective at getting great service later in the night.
Always stand in the middle to get the best view of the stage. Those columns are killer!
great place to see a show
Saw Owl City here....awesome! The venue is small and intimate, so reserving a table in the balcony means that you can sit down and watch your performance but still see and hear everything well.
Holy shit this place was filled with obnoxious drunk kids. I support all-ages shows and used to go to them when I was younger so I know it can be better than this. Yikes.
steve imho best bartender here. he always remembers my drinks no many how many thousands of people he's seen since then. tip this man well, and appreciate his awesome bartender-ness, please.
Bring your earplugs, this place rocks LOUD and hard!
Slim's good venue! Slim's have good bathroom downstairs! Slim's need bring back MIRV for happy-goodtime show! Slim's have no mosh/crowd surf sign that no one listen to!
Don't leave a sip of beer in a cup. They will yoink it away!
Get there early and park for free next to Costco.
Had check in DSLR. Venue policy or artist's request?
Love the fact that Slim's has a dinner/seating area by the bar. Nothing like Cheddar & Bacon potato skins or a big plate of nachos while you listen to the bands play!
There's a coatcheck in the basement!
Bring a jacket! Don't worry they have a coat check!
They sell Hardly Strictly Bluegrass merchandise at the box office.
The music is good, the line outside is short it's worth the wait.
If you check in on Foursquare, Yelp or Gowalla & show the door staff you get a coupon for $2 off a Food order.
Such a great place! Especially if you want an intimate experience with the artist!
Great venue for rock shows. Buy the dinner ticket, you get a decent meal and guaranteed seating.

DNA Lounge is so much better.
Saw Les Rhytmes Digitales here a few years ago, a great and compact venue.
