As anyone who loves filet mignon knows, it is very difficult to find an excellent steak in Boston. SW is in a class of its own, one of the best steaks in the city (& don't forget the creamed spinach!)

As far as Boston steakhouses go, it's "hip" for locals to cite Grill 23 or Abe & Louie's as their fave, but the true beef lovers know that the dry-aged bone-in rib eye at S&W is the best cut in town.
if you order the Sirloin, ask for medium-rare, extra char.....with roasted garlic and cippolini onions......you won't be sorry!

We were a little disappointed with our filets here. Ruth's Chris is undeniably king of steakhouses.
