Did u know? Brits like to sprinkle their chips w vinegar, Belgians dip in mayo, Americans use tomato ketchup, Romanian enjoy it with garlic sauce. Source: Wikipedia

Probably my first and last time here. If the English like it oily and soggy.. I'm going to pay half and enjoy my fish and chips in Changi Airport Terminal 2 staff canteen. Haha

Fish is decent but experience here Suxx. Food is pricey; they charged restaurant prices in a shophouse setting. And worst, no proper cutleries given; they serve the fish & chips in grease paper 👎

The cod fish (small) at $14 was really hard. Try rotisserie at China Square for better and cheaper Fish & Chips. $12 for Fish & Chips and free water too.

There isn't any ice to serve with those gassy drinks. Ouch... cannot imagine drinking root beer from can.

Greasy and yummy! Just like it should be. They r not stingy with the tartar sauce but you gotta request for it though.

I recommend the Haddock. Firm white meat with no fishy smell. Then hit it with tons of malt vinegar and salt. Bloody brilliant!

The lunch set available Mon-Thur is either with haddock or cod. But the serving portion is small compared to the ala carte. Just prepare to fill yourself with chips instead!

Good good, waiting slightly long but worth while for the food. Value deal for students and seniors. Generous servings and very clean toilets

Please note the 'authentic' in the name. This is what British fish & chips are SUPPOSED to be like: greasy, soggy chips, in waxed paper.

Most of the tips here make me facepalm. If your idea of fish and chips is Long John Silver or Fish & Co., and that's what you're expecting, please don't come here; you'll just add to the crowd kthxbai

As close as you'd get to the stuff you'd find in Melbourne. (Chips are meant to be soggy, FYI; fries are the crispy ones. Go to McDs if you want them.)

Sucks big time! Super oily! Fries oven baked n soggy. Served wrapped in paper. Plastic cutlery. No ice. Plastic cups. Exorbitant for such presentation. Thoroughly disappointing. Killed my appetite!

Most people here clearly don't know what real British fish and chips is. Yes, the chips are a bit soggy, but absolutely perfect. Fish good too, but not cheap.

Greasy fish n chips, don't bother asking for grilled fish because they don't do it. Not somewhere I will be returning. Big Bad Wolf, next door is nicer, by far!

Singaporeans are not too used to the British way of serving fish&chips in paper. In fact in UK they serve it in newspapers... Think of it as their deli hawker....and cod/haddock have to be imported.

Certainly as good (better) than most Fish &Chips shops in the UK, this place int he league of best places in UK, and yet, they serve fried fish with fried chips, you can get mushy peas etc and vinegar

British chef so what? Food haphazardly done. Bland food even after continuous hammering of gravy, salt and malt vinegar.

Very authentic except it's run by Brits (fish n chip shops in UK are run by Asians) still no steak and kidney pie, but excellent anyway

No good. Maybe only suitable for angmoh. We got better and tastier fish and chips all over SG.Oily, wrapped in big paper but it's not a real big piece of fish either. Overprice. 1st and last time.

The fish and chips here is as authentic as you can get miles away from the UK. It's oily but that's the way it's meant to be. Love it! A little bit of Britain in the East :)
