    Self service is fine 4 me here but the cod fish with chip was tasteless with soggy broiled chips I supposed .. gota dip wif lotsa sauce 2 flavor it .. won't b back unless happen 2 pass by

    Probably my first and last time here. If the English like it oily and soggy.. I'm going to pay half and enjoy my fish and chips in Changi Airport Terminal 2 staff canteen. Haha

    Fish is decent but experience here Suxx. Food is pricey; they charged restaurant prices in a shophouse setting. And worst, no proper cutleries given; they serve the fish & chips in grease paper 👎

    The cod fish (small) at $14 was really hard. Try rotisserie at China Square for better and cheaper Fish & Chips. $12 for Fish & Chips and free water too.

    I recommend the Haddock. Firm white meat with no fishy smell. Then hit it with tons of malt vinegar and salt. Bloody brilliant!

    The lunch set available Mon-Thur is either with haddock or cod. But the serving portion is small compared to the ala carte. Just prepare to fill yourself with chips instead!

    As close as you'd get to the stuff you'd find in Melbourne. (Chips are meant to be soggy, FYI; fries are the crispy ones. Go to McDs if you want them.)

    Singaporeans are not too used to the British way of serving fish&chips in paper. In fact in UK they serve it in newspapers... Think of it as their deli hawker....and cod/haddock have to be imported.

    Thr r better fish & chips in sgp. Guess it's the ambience. Kinda luv their fries coz is oven cooked not fried. Fish is so so but 1 huge pc. Tasted fresh at least.

    The fish and chips here is as authentic as you can get miles away from the UK. It's oily but that's the way it's meant to be. Love it! A little bit of Britain in the East :)

    Mythbuster 02:Salt/vinegar only - actual condiments used with real fish n chips. Bad/no service - Its a self-serve food outlet, go figure. Expensive - Alternatives in SG (rare) or overseas cost more.
