Back April 6!
Great place to grab some grub before a show at nearby Brooklyn Bowl or the Music Hall. From lobster rolls to brisket to deep fried delicacies. Your stomach AND your wallet will thank you.
If you're considering saving money by not getting the lobster roll, it's time to reevaluate your life choices.
The be-all end-all utopia for food. Unbelievable. Get the Mighty Quinn brisket, dough donuts, and basically anything else you can shove in your mouth.
Don't leave without trying a grilled cheese from the Milk Truck and savoring a barbecue pork banh mi from BEP. We also love the Blue Marble Ice Cream and grilled hot dogs from the Meat Hook.
"Foodie heaven! 100+ vendors with diff. cuisines trying to feed you within a block radius. Bring an appetite, do tapas-style tastings, and relax with a view of the Manhattan skyline in the background"
Get there hungry and with plenty of money in your pocket.
I have a personal rule: don't try to satisfy your craving for mofongo where you satisfy your craving for borscht. This spot is a notable exception to that rule.
If u have the sweet tooth grab a hibiscus donut from Amazing DOUGH!
Awesome spot. Brisket sandwich at the Meathook. Fried anchovies at Bon Chovie. Cinnamon Sugar doughnut at Dough. Do it!
The perfect Saturday activity for anyone who is hungry. We recommend bike riding there. Don’t miss the Pulled Pork Sliders from Mighty Quinn’s and the Blood Orange Doughnut from Dough!
Grab a sandwich at porchetta, absolutely delicious.
Bon Chovi! (deep-fried anchovies) ftw
Foodie heaven! 100+ vendors with diff. cuisines trying to feed you within a block radius. Bring an appetite, do tapas-style tastings, and relax with a view of the Manhattan skyline in the background.
Brisket sandwich... I think about it Sunday to Friday.
Everyone knows the lobster roll is the thing to get at Smorgasburg. What the chicken and waffle from Buttermilk Channel Fried Chicken presupposes is, maybe it isn't....
If the 1st weekend is any indication, the gig is up on what used to be a deep cut brunch alternative for grazing, face-stuffers out there. Get here early (11) and enjoy the food w/o the mob scene.
Gather a handful of buddies with similar tastebuds and do the whole dang thing tapas-style. Small bite here, small bite there, BIG fiesta in your mouth.
Seek out BonChovie, consume, repeat.
Porchetta Sandwiches...I ate two! (no regrets)
Get sandwiches from cemitas!
Good vegan ice cream try the salted Carmel
Wow, Mighty Quinn's BBQ is fantastic! Get here early like we did & there's no wait.
Get the brisket sandwich or slider. I've tried nearly everything at the market and it wins.
Get here early or wait in-line for the "L"-ate train...
So much great food to choose from. Loved the lobster rolls
Bees the size of pigeons flying about. Not the bees. NOT THE BEES. THEY'RE IN MY EYES!
Meet your 2013 Smorgasburg Rookie of the Year :: Crazy Legs. Serves mouth watering turkey legs the size of your own leg, covered in a "secret" spice that's simultaneously salty and sweet.
Spicy tuna ramen from Yuji and Big brisket sandwich from Mighty Quinn's. Don't say I don't guide you right.
Leaving Smorgasburg? Take the East River Ferry back for a scenic view of Manhatten! $4/ride and you can buy tickets on the boat.
lobster rolls, brisket sandwich, blood orange donuts, whole food smoothies. need i say more?
Lobster roll. Best ever.
The ramen burger... It's worth a try, but not groundbreaking. Too hyped up!
Frozen strawberry arnold palmer. Delicious & refreshing on a hot summer day.
Go if you want to move at snails pace, lineup for a sandwich you could get in 5 minutes at the original restaurant and spend 4x the price of an ordinary brunch. People's Pops rule!
Amazing Mc Clure's pickles $6!
Buckwheat crepes are amazing
If you're willing to brave some of the lines, there's absolutely nothing you can't find @ Smorgasburg. Most vendors offer samples before purchasing, so don't be shy. Great food education in general.
Super crowded, but don't let it deter you from all of the tasty noms like the fried fish & shrimp from Handsome Hank's.
Had my first ever smores here. Was fantastic
