In term 2 with a few hours to kill, make your way to the business lounge "Preslav". Costs 15€ but free coffee, tea, booze, etc. and high speed internet! Worth it! Clean WC and separate smoking area!

Airport is small and effective. Does not strike you with luxury or style but it's cozy. If you have a long stay here, don't hesitate to stop by Preslav Lounge - costs 15 EUR.

The legit taxi stand is on the side of the terminal, on your right as you enter the arrivals hall, the big door at the end of the hall.

Food and drink options are very limited and of minor quality just like shops in general. The Airport is small so no need to be there one hour before departure. free and fast Wifi!

Probably the best airport in Sofia. Don't trust the airplanes without a meter on the front! Or if the pilot is wearing pink uniform.

There are not so many places with good coffee or food. The deli sandwiches bar offers coffee for 5x price, than in the city. To go to city on city bus use bus 84 till OrlovMost(subway too)

Low traffic airport, spacious departure areas but poor level of shops and restaurants. Very basic business lounge. Prices of available fragrances at duty free shop can be quite competitive!

Eat, drink, and go to toilette prior to come. Price in duty-free shop is higher than in the city itself. Small airport, 1:30 prior to your departure is enough.

Unlimited free WiFi is an amazing facility; however no power plugs are available so make sure that any device is charged before reaching the choices are limited and rather overpriced.

Only three identical cafés after customs, with poor coffee and almost no proper food. Eat before you go to the airport! Plenty of alcohol available though!

Generally a surprisingly compact and efficient airport. However, the domestic departures section has the feel of a bus stop.

Don’t get there early - it’s small and isn’t busy at all, so you’ll get bored if you arrive too early. Hour or hour and quarter is more than enough.

I hope - finally - someone will make a smoking lounge; its quite stupid not to have one as people smoke in the rest rooms.. Obviously its not about policy - you can smoke in the business lounge!

Small airport. If you can, don't go too early cause there's not much to do & not much power outlets. Buy your snacks here to avoid buying over-priced ones on the plane.

If you have a connecting flight and haven't checked-in online, repeat that a few times at the counter. For transportation take the M1 metro train next to terminal 2.

Don't use the exchange kiosks - opt for the DSK Bank in the lobby or use an ATM. Exhange rate is over 25% off the normal. Use taxi kiosks only for cheap and safe transfer to the city

Regarding taxis: as you get out the main gate, go right where all taxis are gathered. Never take a taxi that is no waiting in that line. 'Ok taxis" are preferred .
