Went for brunch this morning and it was just as good as always! The complimentary breakfast breads were out of this world. I recommend the frittata and the baked eggs.
Beer-soaked mussels appetizer is delicious with lots of garlic. Brunch also great. Try the truffles or the warm chocolate bread pudding for dessert.
They have a great brunch menu, and even have a completely separate gluten free menu they'll give you if you ask for one. The gluten free bread is pretty good, a bit crumbly.
If you like breakfast, but like hash brown potatoes even more, then brunch at Sonsie is an absolute must. Sit by the open window, then get ready to enjoy a brunch you won't soon forget.
One of my favorite spots in Boston for drinks, lunch or dinner. Favs: SALAD - Chicken Caesar w/ lime dressing; PIZZA - chicken w/ chipotle, lime, jack, salsa, sour cream, & guacamole
Delicious chunky prime rib and huevos. Interior & atmosphere of the place is awesome - they put up the wall if it's warm out!
I ordered based off the reviews... Chicken pizza was bland, not good at all!! Eggs bene needed flavor & salt. Skip the clam chowder too. Server was awful (coming from someone in the service industry).
The french toast here is awesome for brunch and the cocktails are delicious. Try going on a sunny day so you can people watch through the doors.
If you gonna eat carbs then the French toast is the way to go - on a bigger sugar rush than bungee jumping naked!
Excellent food with eager and friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. Great for romantic date or family dinner. Mildly pricey, but totally worth it!
Jason really recommends Sonsie, especially the hidden basement bar area. Check out his Favecast recommendation here- http://favecast.com/video/page/v/aCKMtUZ56i/t/
Was always my favorite back when. Hasn't changed. A must go everytime I am back in town. I specially enjoy the very attentive and friendly bar staff
Great brunch, including a great wet cappuccino with sweet espresso. Busy on weekends but it's a big place so the wait is never that bad
Our group loved the downstairs bar. Always great people watching upstairs but I prefer downstairs if you have a group :)
Last visit was for my bachelorette party for drinks and apps 6 years ago and we watched a creepy guy get wrestled to the ground by Boston Police and was hog tied out on a pole. Today, better visit!
Calamari appetizer was amazing! Had a salty/vinegar taste to it which made it different than all others I've tried before.
Chipotle Chili Pizza is one of the best I've ever had. Like a mix of Mexican and Italian, doesn't get much better!
As everyone else suggests, get the mussels, my extra bit... ask for extra bread.
Butternut squash soup is divine here. With apples, maple cream, and black pepper granola...good to the last spoonful.
A very good place for brunch! You don't want to miss eating the French toast or the fried calamari they serve!
Brunch is the best meal here. Quiche, Eggs Benedict, and the Huevos Tortilla are your best bets!
Really narrow bar stools. You feel like you're sitting in those ridiculous half seat greenline T seats...
This restaurant had the best restaurant playlist: The Black Keys, Andrew Bird, The National, Lana Del Rey, The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons…
Love at first sip with Cotes du Rhone Blanc. Steak salad is almost too meaty to be salad but hey I am not complaining ;)
Try the Spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, feta, and garlic pizza. It's very light and the crust is so yummy!
Order the Summertime Corn Pizza, Sit in the window, and watch the Doucherific people come in and out of Ed Hardy. It's Hysterical.
Awesome place! People watch, great food... beautiful atmosphere. Great prices, too!
Place to see and be seen. Seasonal menu that is always changing. And great brunch too
order the cuban sandwich at lunchtime. it comes with super yummy plantain chips.
Get here about 10:30 to beat the brunch rush... Everything here is really good
You can't leave without their chocolate bread pudding! And their burger is killer, too.
You can't leave without their chocolate bread pudding! And the burger is killer, too.
Perfect Sunday afternoon - blood orange mimosas, Huevos, and people-watching. Couldn't get any better.
Small plates were amazing: especially scallops oysters and the sautéed spinach.
Spicy Bloody Mary's there's feta cheese in the pepper garnish
Kaite k awesome bartender drinks are refilled instantly. Don't get that kind of service anywhere else.
The good news, if you go with people you dont like, you can drink off your annoyance. ;)
Do brunch and get the huevos or the pancakes. And the espresso martini, of course!
Try the mushroom, caramelized onion, and brie pizza- it's to die for!!
My favs: chocolate bread pudding (!!!), mee krob, eggs benedict
Awesome brunch spot. Loving the banana rum french toast; check it out!
Bone marrow baked oysters with garlic butter are yummy!
Brunch was amazing and get the spicy Bloody Mary
Try the cauliflower pizza. Like nothing i've ever had before
Grab a drink from Jessie at the bar! Especially if it's a slow night, she tells the best stories!
The steamed mussels appetizer is friggin amazing.
The Brunch Hash is delish!
Be careful of the men's urinals. More than one is a tangle of arms and touching inappropriately.
