If you order the Sampler, they bring you everything at once. Wish I would have known because I would have preferred all these delicious items in a properly timed manner. Oo well. Dig in.

Ordered from Soul Fire the other day. Their cornbread is amazing! Buffalo Mac and Cheese was good although I would have added some blue cheese into it, but thats just me. ColeSlaw and CornDog!!! yes

Best brisket I've ever rated. Moist, tender, and with Pitboss sauce, just perfect. Also, nice tender pulled pork. Baby back ribs were less moist in my 3-meat sampler plate but still quite nice.

Come here with an appetite - platters are piled high with pork, ribs, and even catfish. Don't forget the cornbread (or the mac 'n' cheese) as you savor Memphis BBQ with blues tunes in the background.

Despite its Allston location, Soulfire is authentically Southern, serving huge portions of flavorful smoked meats at college-friendly prices. Try the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes & cornbread. Read more

Our favorite dish might be the mac n' cheese! We also love the chicken sandwich, and our favorite sauces are Pitboss and Soulfire. For a real feast, we recommend the fried chicken platter. Read more

Weird when you go in it seems like there is an area for a host but you just seat yourself. To get beer and wine you need to order food. A 2 meat platter comfortably feeds 2.

Best cornbread and Mac-n-cheese around! Haven't tried all the meats but hickory chicken is delicious. Get one of the platters.

Pulled pork is unbelievable! The vinegar sauce is the best - the other sauces leave something to be desired. I have tried most of the menu and very little will disappoint.

The French fries are amazing. The southwest chicken is amazing. The pulled pork is delectable. The cornbread is exquisite. This place is excellent!

Bring a friend and get the Pitboss Sampler. Just slightly enough for two average sized men. Wash down with a Porkslap Pale Ale.

Their meats are ok chicken is better than pork but it's the sides that make this a winner. The mac and cheese is the best I've ever had.
