Visit South Beach before 10 a.m., while the usual crowd sleeps off the events of the previous night. It’s worth making the trip on a rainy day, to see water and sky interlock in a horizonless sheet.

Best local uncrowded beach plan: park in public meter lot one block down, grab cold beers, water and practically anything else (bros has a lot!) and head to the beach @ 26th st. Quiet- local crowd!

Rooms need an overhaul, there are noisy parties every weekend, breakfast is very expensive (21USD) and the Internet is unstable. Everything you eat and drink at the hotel will cost a little fortune.

Sit back and relax letting the ocean waves calm you and bring you peace when peace is what you need. And remember to play with the ocean waves or go swimming if you have a swimsuit!

Watch out for Portuguese Man o' War. I just got stung and it's not fun. If you do get stung the super nice life guards will put some vinegar on you to help neutralize it though.
