It was amazing! Loved seeing the history, the photos, and hearing different stories from USSS. Would definitely recommend but be prepared for long lines and possibly waiting longer than you thought.

My most favorite view of this beautiful structure ! Gives me the real perspective of life and events in the life of our President, his family, the staff and the dignitaries that are hosted !

Night photos are good here. You'll need someone else to take it to make it good. Turn around and get the Washington Monument. Photosphere to get them both.

The day of Reagan's first inauguration was also the day American hostages in Iran were released. Seven days later on January 27, 1981, the President greeted them on the South Lawn of the White House.

Too bad they are not doing tours anymore as I can't remember I time when they have not. The view from the South lawn is far and you might have a better view from the North lawn.
