    Options here for food/drink etc but is pricey. You are better off leaving the station by platform 1, crossing to road and going to the co-op opposite as its far cheaper. Also a Costa and subway there.

    The 0800 to London starts as two trains - they join here. So wait around (first half arrives 0752) and there could be more seats at the back!

    The free shuttle bus runs from the station to the city centre and the ferry terminals at Town Quay - total journey time around 15 minutes. Handy service and saves on taxi fees!

    Contrary to the signs on the ground of platform 1, the paint is not actually wet any more. You can lean against the RSJ with no fear of ruining your clothes with paint marks.
