Easy rail station for traveling between Winchester and Southampton
Options here for food/drink etc but is pricey. You are better off leaving the station by platform 1, crossing to road and going to the co-op opposite as its far cheaper. Also a Costa and subway there.

CityLink is no longer free. £1 to WestQuay, Old Town and Town Quay. Free if you have a ferry or thru ticket to the Isle of Wight though.
Maria at Pumpkin very professional.

Only one train an hour to Chandler's Ford sadly :(
Avoid WHSmiths. Hideously overpriced.
Taxis right outside the station to the left, last shelter :-)

Contrary to the signs on the ground of platform 1, the paint is not actually wet any more. You can lean against the RSJ with no fear of ruining your clothes with paint marks.

The smallest WHSmith EVER.
They now have a pasty shop next to platform 1. It's more expensive than the one at Waterloo but equally hard to resist!

Apparently first great western don't do third party ticket pickups even though they say they do

You can park your bike here, it's very secure.
