Get Crispy Brussels Sprouts. Just trust me.
Can get loud and cold due to metal roofs
The coconut chicken wings are great.
Brewery with a great selection their own and visiting brews on tap. Burger and garlic fries hit the spot. Would recommend skipping the post work crowd as it is packed. Full liquor selection too.
They don't accept foreign IDs. It's the worst.
Great spot for a large group. No matter the size of your party you're guaranteed to find space for them here
Great if you like mediocre beer, and shouting conversation over the cacophony. #sausagefest
Yummy black bean burger. Loud but open space is kind of nice.
Nice open space. Grab some beers upstairs and enjoy people-watching from above. I like the sage fries and Brussels sprout chips.
Perfect afternoon snack: sage fries dipped in a scoop of iced cream.
Great place to go with a group. $3 for their great pale ale is a steal.
Great for birthday gatherings
Awesome space and cheap beer!
Great $3 house pale ale
Awesome place. Love the outdoor, indoor, and loft seating areas. Food is great. Get the sage fries.
Perhaps the only place in SF that does not take foreign IDs, only passports. Beware.
Two full bars and great food options makes this an ideal happy hour or weekend hangout spot.
Dear Future Nick, For the love of God, don't get The Grasshopper Burger for a fourth time.
Really cool venue with a great aesthetic, friendly staff, an extensive drink selection including many unique in-house brews, and wonderful food. Try the sage fries, you'll leave very happy!
Great for having a beer outside in the sun
Some of the best beer in the city.
Great spot for beer. Kolsch is my favorite. Food isn't bad.
Banh mi is all right (go to Duc Loi for better, cheaper, and more authentic ones), but the sage fries are amazing.
Huge space. Outdoors and indoors, but the indoor portion is a great way to stay warm and feel like you're outside.
I couldn't get enough of the wings.
Foreigners: they don't want your money. Passport is the only ID they take.
Sage fries and a $3 beer
Easy spacious spot for meetups. Tasty fries
Excellent beer selection and fantastic food.
Good for big groups
Sage fries pls
Sage fries are good but you have to ask for the garlic aioli separate even though the menu says it comes with it...
Great open space with outdoor seating.
Perhaps I came at the wrong time but SPBC AT night time feels more like a nightclub. Perhaps I should revisit for day drinking on the patio.
Huge open space, good drink selection, and the burger is damn good
There is a patio can't say that I particularly enjoy anything more than that.
Mind blowing fries.
If you don't have an American ID, bring your passport. Because they're a bunch of idiots.
Huge space. But the vibe is off here a bit. Don't know why.
Great place for a large group of people to grab a drink or for a burger after climbing at Mission Cliffs
Situated in the old Kilger Machine Works, which used to manufacture parts for the titular railroad (just a block away from here)
Brussel sprouts are amazing. Get them.
Pork Belly Mac & Cheese
Food is not bad, just don't ever order the fries. They turn to plastic within 5 minutes. EXCEPT the fries that come with the fish and chips are actually made from potatoes.
Good place for groups since you can usually commandeer a table if you hover for long enough. Also, get two orders of the fries. It'll save you the second trip that you're inevitably going to make.
Very strict about IDs; bring a passport if you're from abroad
Good for big groups (with no rezzies) because you can usually find a big table to share. Food and beer are solid. Has cocktails too but stick to basics
Great for a crowd and cool building!
