The place offers information about the space exploration, about the sciences and people that were and are contributing to this endeavour.

If you plan on taking the tram over to the Johnson Space Center (and you should!), get reservations so you don't have to wait. Also, bring a pillow to sit on, as the tram seats are very uncomfortable.

Huge disappointment. Looking for a cool place to experience the history of space flight, this isn't it! The space shuttle is a replica as are most items on display. Tram tours disorganized. Sad.

I've been going here since I was a small person. Nothing has changed in years except the touring shows. I always hope for something bigger and more grandiose from a Smithsonian Institution.

Tram tour is mandatory, although its queue was way to long.. But you can always take the VIP tour if you have an extra money 😅

Show up early to avoid lines which build during the day. Overall great day excursion, If over the age of 14 the level 9 experience probably makes sense if you are willing to pay a bit extra.

Buy tix online (save $5), eat before you go (expensive considering choices), do the tram tour, go as soon as they open to avoid the crowd and on Fridays you can meet an're welcome!

You may be limited in your experience if you have a baby/stroller. You have to leave your stroller for potential sticky fingers for the tram tours. Still fun for the kids.
